There will also be a separate 3 lane by 25 yard pool available for warm down. The pool depth at the start end is 12 feet and depth at the turn end is 4.5 feet. Omea Timin is used with a ten-line scoreboard. HyTek Meet Manaer software will be used for entries and scorin. Seatin is provided on the second-story bleachers. Spectators will not be allowed to sit on the pool deck. Foldin chairs are prohibited on the pool deck, in the lobby of the buildin, or on the second story balcony, by order of the fire marshal, except where needed Pae 1 of 13

2 for disabled persons. The competition pool has been certified in accordance with C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimmin & Georia Swimmin. Rules: Current USA Swimmin Rules and Reulations will overn the conduct of this meet unless otherwise stated herein. Coaches must present, upon check-in, a current USA coaches certification card and wear the same while on deck or in hospitality. All teams must sin the waiver on the Summary Sheet statin that all swimmers and coaches are currently reistered with United States Swimmin. Chattahoochee Gold Swim Team will NOT permit unreistered swimmers to participate in this meet in any manner. On deck reistrations will not be accepted. Positive check in with the Clerk of Course will be required for all deck-seeded events, which are the 400 Free, 400 IM, and 800 Free. The GA scratch rule will be in effect for all deck-seeded events which the host places a limit.on the number of heats The Meet Referee alon with the Meet Director may elect to chane and/or combine heats and/or events. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify teams of any chanes. Dive over starts may be used durin the meet. Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimmin member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimmin member coach as bein proficient in performin a racin start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s leal uardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. Use of audio or visual recordin devices, includin a cell phone, is not permitted in chanin areas, rest rooms or locker rooms. Deck Chanes (Chanin, in whole or in part, into or out of a swimsuit when wearin only one suit in an area other than a permanent or temporary locker room, bathroom, chanin room or other space desinated for chanin purposes) are prohibited. Photos and videos may be taken of swimmers durin the meet by parents or a professional photorapher retained by the host club. All participants aree to be filmed or photoraphed by photoraphers desinated by the meet host and to allow the meet host the riht to use names, pictures, likenesses, and bioraphical information before, durin, or after the period of participation in Georia Swimmin competitions to promote swimmin and meets hosted by the meet oranizer. If you do not wish to have your child(ren)photoraphed, you may withdraw your consent by informin the Meet Director before the start of the first day of the meet. Pae 2 of 13

3 Operation of a drone or any other flyin apparatus is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coaches area, spectator areas and open ceilin locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present. Exceptions may be ranted with prior written approval by the Vice President of Proram Operations. Deck Pass is acceptable proof of USA Swimmin membership In order to maintain a reasonable timeline and to reulate the continuity of the meet, the Meet Manaement reserves the riht to make the final decisions on the followin: dive over starts, applyin additional limits on the number of heats of events 200 yards and above and other issues that affect the manaement, versus the conduct, of the meet. Concessions: Basic concessions suitable for a swim meet are available. Meet Manaement: Meet manaement shall consist of the Meet Referee(s) and the Meet Director. Eliibility: The meet is open to all swimmers reistered with USA Swimmin. Ae roups are based on the ae of the swimmer as of the first day of the meet. There are qualifyin standards for the 200 Fly, Back, Breast, 400 Free, 400 IM, and 800 Free. Meet Entry Limit: This meet will be limited to the first 500 swimmers entered. However, the Meet Manaement reserves the riht to determine the final number of entries based on the time line. Entry Limit: Swimmers will be limited to (3) individual events per day. Swimmers exceedin the daily limit will be scratched from the event(s) that exceed daily entry limit. Entry fees for violations of daily limits will not be refunded. Meet Format: All events will be timed finals. Time standards will be enforced for the 200 Fly, 200 Back, 200 Breast, 400 Free, 400 IM, and 800 Free. All events will be pre-seeded with the exception of the 400 Free, 400 IM, and 800 Free. These events will be deck seeded, requirin positive check in with the Clerk of Course. Swimmers competin in the 800 Free are responsible for providin their own counter. Lap countin cards will be supplied. Entry Times must be in (Lon course meters). A Meet Entry Report or equivalent hardcopy must include full name of club, and, for each swimmer, first and last names, actual ae as of the first day of the meet, ender, USA Swimmin permanent 14-character identification number, events entered, and entry time for each event. Recheck all entries as no additional entries or corrections will be accepted after the deadline (except deck entries). Your cooperation is appreciated in facilitatin the entry process by makin your entries complete, orderly, and leible. Out of state teams should be prepared to submit proof of current USA membership for each swimmer entered. Entry Deadline: All entries (entry disk, hard copy, entry fee, and liability release) must be received on or before 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 27, Late Entries or Deck Entries: Any chane to entries after the entry deadline is considered a late entry and will be chared accordinly. Deck entries will be accepted on a first come/first serve basis when Clerk of Course is open for any session. Clerk of Course will take advance deck entries for sessions other than the current session. For example, entries for Sunday afternoon will be accepted on Saturday mornin. Clerk of Course will provide a heat and lane for any deck entry swimmer. Deck entries will be accepted for empty lanes only. No new heats will be created to accept deck entries. All deck entries will be entered as No Time. All deck entries shall show proof of USAS reistration. Only three forms of membership are acceptable: A current USA Swimmin Membership Card or A printed USA Swimmin Club Roster. Positive Check In/Deck Seeded s: Positive check-in with the Clerk of Course for the 400 Free, 400 IM and 800 will be required 30 minutes prior to the start of each session. Warm Ups: Georia Swimmin Inc. approved warm-up procedures will be followed for this meet. A coach with current USAS certifications must supervise warm-up for each swimmer. Any swimmer not accompanied by a USA-S certified coach must report to the meet director or meet referee and will be assined to the host team. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or leal uardian to make such notification. Every effort will be made to assin a swimmer to a coach. Continuous warm-ups are permitted in the non-competition pool as lon as swimmers are supervised and entry is feet first only; no divin allowed. Coaches: Coaches must sin in at Clerk of Course and show their current USA Swimmin coach s reistration card or current reistration on Deck Pass. All coaches on the pool deck must have a valid coach s card from their respective LSC. Any coach not havin current certifications will be barred from the pool deck. Coaches must display their credentials in order to receive their heat sheet at Clerk of Course, as well as while on the pool deck and in hospitality. Pae 5 of 13

6 Coaches Meetin: There will be a coaches meetin 15 minutes prior to warm-ups on Friday at 3:45 PM. At least one coach from each team must attend any coaches meetin. Any coach arrivin late shall contact the Meet Referee upon arrival. Subsequent coaches meetins may be required at the discretion of the Meet Referee. Officials: Chattahoochee Gold welcomes visitin officials and will appreciate help in officiatin this competition. There will be an officials meetin one hour prior to the start of each session in the hospitality room. Any certified official or apprentice reistered with USA swimmin wishin to officiate or apprentice at any session must sin in prior to the required officials meetin. Any official or apprentice wishin a certain assinment should contact the meet referee prior to the meet. Dress code for officials is white collared shirt with navy blue shorts, pants or skirt and white deck shoes. All officials must present at check-in current LSC certification cards or recently completed Apprentice form and proof of USA Swimmin membership. Officials must display their credentials while officiatin or in hospitality. Officials must have current certification in order to be on the pool deck in any official capacity. It will be appreciated if all officials and apprentices would contact the Meet Referee Dave Furlon ( atlfurlon@mail.com ) with their intent to officiate. The same applies to any official requestin a certain position. Scorin and Awards: There will be no team or individual scorin for this meet. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st throuh 10th place in each event. Hospitality: coaches and officials. Chattahoochee Gold will provide hospitality for all reistered Liability: USA Swimmin, Inc.; Georia Swimmin Inc.; Cummin Aquatic Center; and Chattahoochee Gold Swim Team shall be free from liability or claims arisin by reason of injury to anyone durin the conduction of this meet. 12 EXHIBIT A GEORGIA SWIMMING INC. SCRATCH RULE The Scratch Rule to be used in all Georia LSC sanctioned meets where the meet format includes preliminary heats, consolation finals and finals, is the "Scratch Rule" as found under Administrative Conduct of USA Swimmin Championships, subsection Scratch Procedures, subsections Scratchin from finals and Exceptions for failure to compete, of the current USA Swimmin Rules and Reulations. An excerpt is provided below. Scratchin from finals: (1) Any swimmer qualifyin for a C, B, or A (bonus and consolation final or) final race in an individual event who fails to compete in said final shall be barred from further competition for the remainder of the meet, except as noted in pararaph E. A declared false start under F or deliberate delay of meet under is not permitted and will be rearded as a failure to compete. (2) In the event of withdrawal or barrin of a swimmer from competition the Referee shall fill the C, B, or A (bonus and consolation final or) final, when possible, with the next qualified swimmer(s). First and second alternates shall be announced alon with the final qualifiers. These alternates shall not be penalized if unavailable to compete in the finals. (3) Where C and B (bonus and consolation) finals have not been swum and a barrin or withdrawal is known to the Referee, the Referee shall reseed the C, B, or A (bonus final, consolation final and the) final, if necessary, to insert the alternate(s) in the appropriate lane(s), fillin all lanes in the final. (4) If the C or B (bonus and consolation) final has already been contested, the (championship) final shall be swum without reseedin for the empty lane(s). Exceptions for failure to compete: No penalty shall apply for failure to withdraw or compete in an individual event if: (1) The Referee is notified in the event of illness or injury and accepts the proof thereof. (2) A swimmer qualifyin for a C, B or A (bonus or consolation final or) final race based upon the results of the preliminaries notifies the Referee within thirty (30) minutes after announcement of the qualifiers for that race that they may not intend to compete and further declares their final intentions within thirty (30) minutes followin their last individual preliminary event. (3) It is determined by the Referee that failure to compete is caused by circumstances beyond the control of the swimmer. Unless otherwise stated in the final sanctioned Meet Information: the followin Georia LSC additions listed below apply to all timed final meets as well as all preliminary/finals meets. 1. Swimmers that qualify for any final heats as announced in the meet information will also be subject to these rules. Revision 1.5; 09/12/15 Pae In all deck seeded events (1), a swimmer who has been checked in either personally or by a team coach, has been seeded and then fails to compete in said event, shall be barred from his or her next individual event, except as noted in Exceptions for failure to compete above. This rule only applies to timed-final events where the meet manaement has placed limits on the number of heats to Pae 12 of 13

13 be contested or the number of individual entries to be accepted for a particular deck-seeded event as specifically stated in the meet announcement. 3. There is no scratch rule overnin relays and there is no penalty reardin relay scratches. 4. Qualifiers for all finals heats are those as identified on the oriinally posted results of the preliminary heats. Any qualifier who has moved up into this roup as a result of the postin of corrected preliminary results after oriinal results have been posted shall not be subject to penalty. 5. The meet official desinated to receive initial intentions not to compete and final intentions shall be announced at the beinnin of each session. It is suested that this official be the Clerk of Course. 6. On the final day of LSC Championship competitions, any swimmer who has checked in for finals and fails to compete will be assessed a $50 fine. This fine must be paid before the next LSC Championship meet in which the swimmer intends to compete or the swimmer will be barred from competition. 7. A Positive check-in procedure shall be used for all deck seeded events. A swimmer s intent to swim a race shall be denoted by the swimmer s or swimmer s coach s initials entered next to the swimmers names on the official entry sheet posted at the Clerk of Course. Failure to check in shall be considered to indicate that the swimmer will not compete. 8. In cases where chanes to the USAS rules cause conflict with the Georia LSC additions, USAS rules shall take precedence. (1) Interpretation: The chane clarifies the intent of the rule. If there are no limits placed on the number of swimmers in the deck seeded event then there is no penalty for a no-show in that event; iven that no swimmer was impacted by the noshow and everyone that wanted to swim ot to swim. If a limit is placed on a deck seeded event (e.. the fastest 30 swimmers), then a no-show could cause the exclusion of the 31st fastest swimmer from competin and would result in a penalty aainst the no-show swimmer.
