The Red Raiders enter Saturday having lost back-to-back matches and five of their last six contests. Texas Tech was a perfect 12-0 in non-conference play to start the season. K-State swept the Red Raiders in the first meeting this year back on Oct. 4 in Lubbock. CONFERENCE START K-State ended its first half of Big 12 matches with a 6-2 record, its best start since The six Big 12 wins ties last year s total (6-10). With the addition of this season, the Wildcats have started a conference schedule 6-2 or better eight times in the Big 12 era and only twice since winning the Big 12 title in K-State s 6-2 record is benefitted by a 4-0 mark in road matches, which is the first time the Wildcats have won their first four conference road matches in a season since The Wildcats have started their Big 12 schedule 7-2 or better five times (Last: 2008, 7-2) and 6-3 or better 11 times (Last: 2012). HUMBLE ABODE K-State enters Saturday with a 7-2 home record this season, having won two of its last three matches in Ahearn Field House.
