2 Mizzou Volleyball 2005 Tiger Volleyball History Missouri Volleyball: A Kreklow Revolution Five-Straight NCAA Tournament Apperances After 31 years of Missouri Volleyball, it s pretty easy to ascertain that the Tiger program is experiencing its best times ever, having now gone to five straight NCAA Tournaments and having 20-win seasons in four of the last five years under Susan Kreklow, who is at Mizzou. MISSOURI VOLLEYBALL AVCA ALL-AMERICANS Christi Myers 2002 Third-Team The Tigers played their first match in That season MU won 20 matches under Head Coach Debbie Duren. Four seasons later, Mizzou recorded 37 wins, which remains the most ever in school history. The early 1980 s was a successful period for Missouri Volleyball, as the Tigers reached the 20-win mark three straight seasons ( ). Since 2000 and the arrival of Susan and Wayne Kreklow, MU has experienced its greatest success, making five-straight NCAA Tournament appearances, the first five in Mizzou history. From Yvette Buhlig, the all-time leader in career kills at MU to Heather Gerber, who holds the record for career assists at Missouri, to Christi Myers, who became the first-ever Tiger All-American in 2002, Mizzou Volleyball has had a long list of great volleyball stars in its first 30 years. The outlook for the next 30 years looks good as Mizzou hopes to continue to make history both on and off the court. Yearly Record OVERALL CONFERENCE Year....W L T Pct. W L Pct.
