1 Press Release Athens, April 12 th 2013 Over participants turned the International Health Day into a celebration at ING Live Well! Over 5,000 people responded to the call of ING on Sunday, April 7 th, to celebrate the International Health Day, at an open event under the title "ING Live Well", held for the first time downtown Athens. The event aimed to celebrate the World Health Day and for the first time a big event titled "ING Live Well event", was held in the center of Athens, so as to better communicate and promote this message to the community. On that day, people of all ages, families with children and athletes gathered in Zappeio to make a 4 km symbolic race, downtown Athens where no cars were allowed to enter. Participants were over 5,000 and arrived to the center of the city full of energy and enthusiasm to be part of such a big celebration. People in a great sports mood, riding contemporary or even antique bikes, ATVs children on their bicycles, skaters and strollers with babies, even people with their pets arrived, having a common purpose, namely to enjoy a day of motion and energy in a city center without any vehicles and participate in this very important Health event. Nadia Boule, a well-known television presenter opened the event; Trainer, Sophie Paschalis, danced with her team in Zumba rhythms and helped participants to warm up. First race was that of cyclists, and then runners followed. Small surprises were scheduled for our little friends, who entertained themselves in Kidsland, where one could see children s castles, trampolines and mini football, thus having the opportunity to compete on a special arena created just for them. Many ING partners with kiosks participated at the ING Live Well event, offering over 200 gifts to the participants at this great celebration for health. After the finishing, followed the lottery draw for the big gifts offered by Euromedica, Vioiatriki, Kalavryta Ski Center, Parimed, Pulse 100, Nikopolis Thessaloniki, while on April 11 th a lottery draw was organized for the remaining gifts, at the ING
2 Head Office. The lottery terms and conditions as well as the lucky numbers are communicated on the official company website The new ING Orange Cross health insurance programs were responsible for the inspiration to hold this celebrating sports event, which promotes the concept of prevention and healthy lifestyle. In this context, ING wants to communicate an important message about the importance of physical activity and sports in sustaining a good health. Mr. Manos Hirakis, Chief Marketing Officer at ING Greece, stated: "We are so proud and excited for the fact that over 5,000 of our fellow citizens have responded to the call of ING in this great celebration for Health. People attended, who from their point, felt the need to convey this message for a balanced life, characterized of wellness and energy, based on the pillars of prudent prevention and physical activity. This is also the philosophy of the new health insurance programs, ING "Orange Cross", which since January 2013 have been available in the Greek market." The first ING Live Well event was organized in collaboration with the O.P.A.N.D.A., with a mission to reach out through actions, recreation, culture, sport, education and creation, citizens of all ages, offering them access to art, sport, modern methods of science and new technologies.
