2 Regional Eligibility In order to be eligible to compete you must be playing in the region that corresponds to your team s home country. A team s home country is selected based on the geographical location of its core roster. Specifically, the main place of residence for each player. Exceptions can be made for teams competing overseas, at tournament officials discretion. The standard three out of five rule will be used to detect a majority country. If no majority is found, thus voiding this rule, then the team country will set to the appropriate region. In the scenario where a team s home country must be discovered in this way, Battlefy will seek to place teams where they are in a competitive and fair environment, taking into account factors including ping/routing. The regional splits are as described below: EMEAI - Europe, Middle East, Africa, India NALA - North America and Latin America APAC - Asia Pacific, Oceania Player Details At any point prior, during, or for up to one month after competing in a Zotac Cup Masters event Battlefy is able to request details from players, specifically: Full Name Contact Details Address Photo ID It is the player s responsibility to ensure that the nickname they choose to use is of a representable and inoffensive nature. Battlefy reserves the right to ask players to change their nickname if it is deemed to be offensive in any way, shape, or form. Every player is required to enter in their SteamID during the registration process. Failure to do so may result in said player being marked ineligible to compete until resolved. If a player is found to be competing in an official Zotac Cup Masters match with an ineligible game account, then penalties may be applied. This may include a result reversal, as well as suspension from further play. Decisions on this are all up to the tournament officials discretion.

3 Team Details It is the Team Captains responsibility to ensure that the team name they choose to use is of a representable and inoffensive nature. Battlefy reserves the right to ask the captain to change the team name if it is deemed to be offensive in any way shape or form. The same ruling also applies to any graphical assets used both in and out of game to represent a team and/or organization. Team License If you are successful in your attempt to qualify for the Regional LAN Finals in any of the three Zotac Cup Masters regions, then your team will be granted a ZCM License. This license acts as your ticket to compete. The ownership of this license will first go to any attainable legal entity associated with the team. In the case that no legal entity exists then the license will be granted to the Team Captain, who is responsible for fulfilling the duties that an organization or otherwise legal entity would have. This includes: Team Page Upkeep Prompt communication with Battlefy and Zotac officials Responsible for all scheduling matters In any circumstance, teams that qualify for the Regional LAN Finals or the Global Grand Finals are only entitled to make two roster changes between every phase of the competition. This rule can be nullified if exceptional circumstances present themselves, such as a player being unable to travel, etc. The execution of this ruling will come down to discretion of tournament officials. If a team opts to make more than the allowed set of changes, they will be expected to prove that they are able to compete at a similar level of play, as part of this license review. Match Configuration (Map/Veto) Depending on your stage in the tournament, you may be competing in a Bo1 or Bo3 matchup. Seeding will be facilitated by the Zotac Cup Masters and Battlefy tournament officials. Your team s seed can be found on the match page under your team s name. The higher seeded team will have the first ban.

Server Configuration All servers used for official matches as part of the Zotac Cup Masters, will be provided by Battlefy Officials. Any matches played outside of this controlled environment will be deemed invalid. Each match server will be equipped with the official competitive config, provided by Battlefy. Every server will be VAC enabled, with sv_pure set to 1.

5 Player Configuration All configuration settings are allowed providing they do not give players a competitive advantage. There are however a set of blacklisted settings that are explicitly denied from use. The following commands/launch options are forbidden: mat_hdr_enabled +mat_hdr_enabled 0/1 +mat_hdr_leven 0/1/2 The following scripts/binds are forbidden: Stop shoot scripts [Use or AWP scripts] Center view scripts Turn scripts [180 or similar] No recoil scripts Burst fire scripts Rate changers (Lag scripts) FPS scripts Anti-flash scripts or binding (snd_* bindings) Bunnyhop scripts Stop Sound scripts Jumpthrow script Any additional programs, including but not limited to all A3D programs that directly interact with any game qualities, both audio and visually are forbidden. This also includes any modification to graphics drivers. Intentional Use of Bugs/Glitches The intentional use of any bugs, glitches, or errors in the game will be reviewed and penalized by tournament officials. If the tournament officials deem the bugs had an effect on the outcome of any round or match, they may award rounds or in some unique cases, overturn the result. It is up to the admins discretion whether or not the use of said bugs had an effect on the match, and whether or not he/she will award rounds, or the match to the opposing team, or force a rematch.

6 Anti-Cheat Battlefy will announce the selected anti-cheat for the event on March 16 th, All players will be required to operate this anti-cheat, or will otherwise be unable to compete in any stage of play. If a player is found to have avoided / circumvented the Anti Cheat measures put in place by Battlefy, they will be permanently removed. Anti-cheat is put in place in order to protect the integrity and promote fair play within the Zotac Cup Masters, a statement that both Battlefy and Zotac take exceptionally serious. There is a strictly zero tolerance stance towards any cheating / related behavior.
