The first reason is experience. Coach Don Maples holds numerous USSF Coaching Licenses and NSCAA Diplomas (see attached coaches bio). In those 25+ years of coaching, both have maintained their philosophy that player development is more important than results. This belief is grounded in the foundation that if you do the right things in training, then the wins will take care of themselves. Our camps are most importantly about coaches education and player development. It is highly encouraged that coaches attend our sessions with their players. When coaches see how a training session is run and the progression from skill to skill, it is more likely what we teach will be carried on after camp is over. The lasting effect is better educated coaches lead to better skilled players. The game of soccer in your team, league and area wins when everyone rises to a higher level of understanding.

3 Costs/Paperwork: Players o $45 per player ages U10-12 o $55 per player ages U13 and older Coaches o Coaches are free Clean Sheet GKA / BCYSA Camp Info Please have parents paying by check to make the check out to Don Maples and in the memo part write Soccer Camp All paperwork/fees mailed in early (preferably) or all paperwork and player fees turned in on the first day of camp with all info filled out as complete as possible with good contact info listed. Mail to: Clean Sheet GKA, 128 Boardwalk Ave. Port St. Joe, FL Players/Teams Participating: Players Ages 10-18, male and female, recreational to competitive team experience Dates & Location: February 16, 17, 18 at the Harders Sports Complex Thursday: 6-8 PM CST Friday: 6-8 PM CST Saturday: 9-11AM & 1-3 PM CST Items needed for camp to be provided by Team: A cooler with ice water for hydration (players should bring their own water bottle so cups are not needed) A cooler with ice and plastic bags (plastic bags from grocery stores or sandwich bags are fine) for any injuries. Some athletic tape for wrapping of ankles, knees, etc Items to be provided by Clean Sheet Academy: A medical kit All soccer equipment needed for training balls, cones, various color scrimmage vest Items players need to bring these items to EACH training session/game: A water bottle Shin guards Proper clothing/shoes for soccer training (Gkers need pants and gloves) Uniform as designated by the head coach for the game on Saturday
