18 Player Evaluation Process Birth Year Training Day 1: Large Group ( 9v9) Grouped based on player history and knowledge of player Evaluated by coaches within the age group, as well as, impartial coaches Day 2: Large Group (9v9) Players are grouped initially based on their 1 st day evaluations Players are moved from field to field based on individual performance during games.

19 Player Evaluation Process Official Arsenal Colorado Player Placement Day May 29 th (08 Boys and Girls) 4:15-5:15 Fort Collins Soccer Complex Warm Up (players will be lead by staff in quick warm up) Large Group (9v9 with Goalkeepers) Players are grouped based on their evaluations from Birth Year Training Players are moved from field to field based on performance during games

20 Team Placement Coaches meet for Player Placement directly after their final tryout Coaches contact their players by phone! All Player Notifications will be made by Sunday, June 3rd One Family s delay in decision-making affects everyone!

21 League Structure Champions League (seeded by historical data) Premier 1, Premier 2, Premier 3 Promotion & Relegation occur between seasons Centennial League (club placement) Elite, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze No Promotion & Relegation; club places team each season

22 CSA State League Year : 18 games 9 in the Fall / 9 in the Spring Half games at home (Complex) and half away Away may be anywhere in Colorado Fall Season Begins weekend of August 25 th & 26 th Ends early November Spring Season Begins mid-march (you will play games over spring break) Ends mid-may

23 Tournament Information Most teams play in 3 tournaments during the seasonal year (Fall/Spring) U11 teams typically travel within Colorado for tournaments; Academy and Gold teams may travel out-ofstate Teams are expected to participate in Arsenal Cup (August 16 th 19 th, 2018)

25 Player Expenses Exact amount: determined by the team coach and parents as part of the process of forming and approving the team s annual financial statement. Total fees include: costs for registration, practice space, equipment, uniforms, clinics, tournaments, social activities, and coaches expenses.
