The Netherlands have the edge with 11 victories to seven, the other ten matches being drawn. Denmark s last win was on 4 October 1967 when they outsmarted the Oranje 3-2 in Copenhagen in a qualifier for the UEFA European Championship. Nevertheless the Danes have since beaten the Netherlands on penalties, following a 2-2 draw after extra time in the semi-finals of EURO 1992, a campaign in which they went on to triumph against Germany in the final.
