1 Spotlight Courage Select News DMV Premier Cup produced great results for the the club with 9 Champions and 3 Runners-up! Girls invited to US National Training Center 2004, 2005, & 2006 current or former Courage Players have been invited to the Girls US Soccer National Training Center. Former players and current VDA players Alana Beasley (04), Payton Hurley (04), Sophia Faulkner (04), and
2 Anika Berger (05) will be joined by current PWSI players Emily Soos (05), Kamryn Winger (06), and Selena Alfaro (06) at the National Training Center. Opening Weekends of the Select Season NPL teams hosted new Virginia Premier League Club Tidewater and founding member Virginia Rush on opening weekend. NPL teams followed that up with an away weekend against VSA and home matches with FC Virginia. NPL teams close out the month with a Saturday Fixture Date with newcomers Gunston (9/23) at Tyrell, a trip to Richmond to play Kickers (9/24), and open October with a trip to the final of 3 newcomers to the Virginia Premier League, Great Falls. NCSL & ODSL Seasons opened on September 9 with 20 Red, White, and Classic Teams in NCSL as well as 11 Classic teams in ODSL. Team in Focus - Boys 2001 Red team has opened the season with a fast start. After sweeping the U19 Cup bracket at DMV Premier Cup with a record, they have also started off NCSL Division 1 with a Record and sit atop the league. Lead by coach Tim Tryon, the boys have come from behind to beat Hendon FC Zorros, draw with Arlington White, and beat Loudoun Black in their first 3 league fixtures! The 2001 Red team also looks to continue on their run in the VYSA Presidents Cup as they were 2014, 2015, and 2016 VYSA Champions! Courage Recreational Spotlight The Fall 2017 Recreational Soccer opening weekend with goals galore and fun had by all!

4 The start of Courage Development Program (CDP) and Courage Cubs
5 TOPsoccer ("The Outreach Program") is the official United States Youth TOPSoccer Begins Oct 14th We are excited to announce that this year's TOPSoccer Training will take place at Howison Park! The program will start on Saturday, October 14 at 8:00 AM. We are looking for TOPSoccer buddies to assist with TOPSoccer participants. Buddy training will be on October 1 and October 8 at 6PM in the meeting room at Howison Park. Buddy Training will take no longer than 1 hour. To register as a TOPSoccer player you can go to and login or create an account to register.
6 Soccer (USYS) program offered in affiliation with Prince William Soccer, Inc. to any child between the ages 4 1/2 to 18 with physical and/or mental disabilities. This program is designed to get these young athletes off the sidelines and onto the playing field. Courage Coaches Spotlight Welcome new select coaches to the program Kevin Brown (99/00G NPL2), Marleyna Mendoza (07G Swoosh, GK Trainer), Gabe Portillo (06 & 07G NPL, Director of Youth Programs), Eddie Rodriguez (01B White), and Luis Guevera (07B White)! Coach in Focus - Victor Merino Director of Coaching Quan Phan said of Merino - Coach Victor Merino continuously goes above and beyond to help players improve and accomplish their individual goals.
