The class will list descriptive words with baseball-related themes such as fans, food, stadium, players, tickets or strikeouts. Using those words each child will create a Diamonte Poem using the format below. Poems can be transferred to decorative paper/posterboard for presentations and/or bulletin boards. 7 3-6 Language Arts Students will create a Venn Diagram using Baseball and two other related sports of his/her choice. Students will compare and contrast the three sports. This assignment can be simplified by comparing/contrasting baseball with one other sport.

Potential Energy Potential energy is stored energy and the energy of position gravitational energy. There are several forms of potential energy. Kinetic Energy Kinetic energy is motion of waves, electrons, atoms, molecules, substances, and objects. Example: Bat is ready to hit. Example: Bat is swung.
