1 MEDIA INFORMATION Wilmington Blue Rocks (57-68, 19-36) Carolina League Affiliate of the Kansas City Royals vs. Carolina Mudcats (64-61, 30-26) Carolina League Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves Game No. 126 Road Game No. 64 Five County Stadium Monday, August 24, :00 p.m. BLUE ROCKS BREAKDOWN HOME: AWAY: STREAK: L2 LAST 5: 2-3 LAST 10: 4-6 ANOTHER SERIES SETBACK: A big day from designated hitter Kevin Heller and a sterling performance from starter Daniel McGrath led the Salem Red Sox to a series win over the Wilmington Blue Rocks as they took the last meeting of 2015 between the two teams 5-1 on Sunday at Frawley Stadium. Rocks starter Jakob Junis suffered his fifth loss in his last five decisions while his offense narrowly avoided being shutout for the 17th time this season thanks to a run in the bottom of the ninth inning. GARCIA GOING STREAKING: Carlos Garcia continues to be the most consistent hitter in the Wilmington lineup after recording another hit on Sunday. Garcia now has a 10-game hitting streak dating back to August 12. The speedy leadoff man has matched his season-high hitting streak, which he first did at the end of July (July 18-30). Over his last 10 contests, the switch-hitter is batting.400 (14-for-35) with two doubles, three triples, four walks, and five stolen bases. The international free agent out of Venezuela is now batting.293 this year at Advanced-A, the highest average of any current Rocks hitter. His.360 on-base percentage is also tops on the squad and fifth-best in the CL. GETTING CHASED: On Sunday Blue Rocks manager Brian Buchanan was ejected from a game for the third time this season. Ironically, all three ejections have come from the same umpire -- Chase Eade. Eade tossed Buchanan after the skiper argued Eade s runner s interference ruling against Jack Lopez in the fourth inning. Eade deemed Lopez out of the base path on his swinging bunt roller between the mound and the first-base chalk. Eade also ejected Buchanan with Wilmington s magic number to clinch the first half at one on a call that eventually got overturned in June and against Carolina at Frawley Stadium earlier this month. TAYLOR TEEING OFF: After having a rough go of it at the plate for most of the season, Dominique Taylor has finally found his stroke in the month of August. Taylor added four more hits to his ledger over the weekend against Salem -- two of which went for extra-bases. The outfielder out of Frankfurt, Germany is now batting.326 in August (14-for-43) with four doubles and six runs scored. It has been by far Taylor s most productive offensive month. He now has his average up to.215 on the season, up 15 points from the beginning of the month. Taylor was a 15th-round pick by the Royals in 2013 out of the University of California Irvine. Though he was born in Germany to military parents, Taylor now calls Salt Lake City, Utah home during the offseason. TRIPLE THE PLEASURE: On August 4 Wilmington turned its third triple play of the season. Myrtle Beach s Victor Caratini popped out to Humberto Arteaga with runners on first and second, and with both runners being unaware that the ball was caught, the Rocks were able to collect two force outs to get the tri-killing. The first time the Blue Crew turned three this year was on April 19 in a game against Frederick at Frawley Stadium. They also turned three on June 9 at Winston-Salem. The trio of triple plays are a franchise record for most in a single season. Perhaps most amazing is the fact that the team turned four triple plays in a 373-day span. Prior to that stretch, Wilmington had retired three on the same play only twice in the previous 16 seasons. THEY SAID IT INFIELDER JACK LOPEZ: At first, when I came out of the box (on the play I was called out on by runner s interference), I was a little bit in the way. Then I asked (umpire) Erich (Bacchus) What s the ruling on that? They ve been having those problems for a while now, you even see people on ESPN talking about it. We re just waiting for them to (come up with a consistent ruling). Hopefully they get things right and stick with something...brian (Buchanan) is always behind us 100 percent. If he knows the umpire has messed up, he s going to protect us I m not really surprised that he was out there trying to help me out. THEY SAID IT INFIELDER CARLOS GARCIA: It was kind of a hard two-seam (fastball that I got the triple on). He was trying to throw really low pitches, but he let me hit that pitch down the right-field line and I m glad I hit that triple...it was a tough day. (Daniel McGrath) was trending well and throwing first-pitch strikes. He was throwing his pitches (well) and always working ahead in the count. We couldn t put everything together. I think we were being too aggressive. For example, I was swinging at a couple of bad pitches I couldn t make good contact with. We ve kind of struggled with them. I think sometimes we try to do too much and things like that happen...we want to be ready for the playoffs. We want to finish these last two weeks of the season strong and try to put everything together. We ve been struggling with hitting. We need to bunt and move runners and play good defense and I know that we ll play winning baseball. Today s Starters WIL: LHP Matthew Strahm (1-4, 3.25) vs. CAR: LH Yean Carlos Gil (2-9, 6.52) A native of North Dakota, Matthew Strahm took an interesting path to professional baseball. Growing up the weather only permitted outdoor baseball to be played four months out of the year, but that didn t stop Strahm from earning an opportunity at Neosho County Community College in Kansas. He pitched so well there that he earned a scholarship opportunity at Nebraska, but turned that down to go pro when the Royals drafted him in the 21st round in Strahm began his pro career in 2012 at Idaho Falls, but then missed the entire 2013 campaign with an elbow injury. He went back to Idaho Falls in 2014, making 10 appearances and posting a 2.29 ERA. Strahm began this season with Low-A Lexington where had a 2.08 ERA, a.140 batting average against and fanned 38 in 26 innings pitched He was promoted to Wilmington in June. While he projects as a reliever, his ability to give length shifted him into first a piggyback role with the Blue Rocks and then an exclusive spot in the rotation when Alec Mills went to the disabled list. Mills is back, but Strahm remains in the rotation. Yean Carlos Gil has certainly endured a roller coaster 2015 campaign. The 24-year-old native of Maracay, Venezuela was Carolina s Opening Day starter, taking a loss to Salem on April 9. That set the tone for a disastrous first half which saw him lose nine times. Gil went two months between starts with Carolina when he was sent to Low-A Rome at the All-Star break. There he went 2-5 with a 4.07 ERA over 10 starts, but also turned in two complete game victories at Low-A. He thrived with Rome last year, where he was a mid-season South Atlantic League All-Star. and produced a 7-6 overall record with a 3.35 ERA in 27 games (22 starts). In his first start back with the Mudcats last week, Gil allowed five runs on nine hits and four walks in 5.2 frames against Salem, but somehow still got the win. His only career start against Wilmington came on April 15. The southpaw took a loss depsite yielding just two runs (one earned) in 6.1 innings pitched. Briceno saw some improvements at the plate in 2014, as he began hitting the ball to all fields more and worked out some flaws in his setup at the dish. There is a bit of an uppercut to his swing, allowing him to tap into his raw power. On the defensive side of the ball, Briceno is still developing as a receiver. He features an above-average arm, and even threw out 44 percent of would-be basestealers a season ago. Despite these assets, he has work to do, but Briceno s tools give him the chance to develop into a big league regular in time. Another player realtively new to the Braves organization is Dustin Peterson. The San Diego Padres took the Phoenix, Arizona native just 38 picks after the Seattle Mariners chose his older brother D.J. in the first round of the 2013 Draft. He spent his first full professional season at Low-A Fort Wayne, and was included in the package the Braves acquired in December in exchange for Justin Upton was a bit of a struggle for Peterson, but scouts still trust his hitting ability. They believe he knows how to work counts and take advantage of pitches he can drive. Featuring above-average raw power, Peterson is a player who comes with his fair amount of swings-and-misses. He was originally a shortstop in high school and took a brief detour as a third baseman as a professional. The Braves moved him to the outfield after his acquisition and he s made a solid transition. Scouts believe that no matter where he ends up defensively, it ll be up to his bat to carry him through the minors. If the Mudcats make the postseason this year, they can rest easy knowing at least one of their regulars has big-time postseason experience. Jacob Schrader played college ball at the University of Tampa, where he helped his team win the Division II National Championship in Schrader, a native of San Antonio, Florida, was named the NCAA DII Championship Series All-Tournament Team MVP during his squad s title run. He hit an even.300 during his magical 2013 campaign, to go along with 10 home runs and 51 RBIs. A 27th round pick by the Braves in 2013, Schrader has been consistently progressing through the minor league ranks, playing at the Rookie Level during his first year of pro-ball, the Low-A level a season ago, and has now found a home at the Adv.-A level in Carlos Salazar was originally committed to pitch collegiately at Fresno State, but a $625,000 signing bonus from the Braves lured the hard-throwing righty to the professional ranks right out of high school in the 2013 draft. The California native is in his third professional season after limited time in 2013 and a season to forget in at the Low-A level a season ago, Salazar pitched to a 1-6 record and a ERA in 10 starts before getting demoted to Rookie-Level Danville. It was there that he was moved to the bullpen, and Salazar thrived in the role, notching a 2-1 record and an ERA of He spent most of 2015 back with Low-A Rome, but got the call to the Carolina League in mid-july. Salazar features a fastball that sits at mph and can touch 97. His changeup and curveball have potential to be plus-pitches, but they still need refining.

3 TONIGHT S BLUE ROCKS STARTING PITCHER #40 LHP Matthew Strahm Acquired: Selected in the 21st round of the June 2012 Free Agent Draft Born: November 12, 1991 in Fargo, N.D. Age: 23 Resides: West Fargo, N.D. Ht: 6-3 Wt: 183 College: Neosho County Community College Bats/Throws: Right/Left Pitch Repertoire: Fastball, Slurve, Changeup Matthew Strahm: A native of North Dakota, Matthew Strahm took an interesting path to professional baseball. Long Ball Struggles Attributed To Starting?: While Strahm has flashed moments of brilliance, he does exhibit one major weakness: the long ball. He has yielded six long balls in 12 appearances (eight starts). The trend is certainly an odd one for the southpaw, who never allowed more than a single home run at any level in professional baseball before getting to the Riverfront. The dingers may be attributed to Strahm s relatively new role as a starter for Wilmington. In his four relief appearance at Advanced-A, Strahm has allowed just one long ball, while the other four have come in his seven starts. While his numbers are still good, they are not as strong when he starts games. His ERA as a starter is up to 3.57, compared to just 2.19 as a reliever. All four of his losses have also come when he starts games. Pluses And Minuses To Home: Strahm grew up in North Dakota, which is not exactly a place that s all that conducive to playing baseball at the highest level. (There is) not very good baseball (in North Dakota), Strahm said. Four solid months out of the year maybe to play. My parents took me around the Midwest, down to Kansas (and) Oklahoma for showcases and everything during the winter. It just presented me with the opportunities to keep playing baseball, and I took them. There were some positives though. Career-High K s: 9, 2x last (6-26) vs. Potomac Injury In His Own Words: In January of 2013, I had a stress reaction on my elbow then I rehabbed that for six months, started a throwing program again, and then at the end of that throwing program that same pain came Last Win: 6-26 vs. Potomac back. They re-mri d it, and that same stress reaction was back Exploratory surgery was what they wanted to Last Loss: 8-18 vs. Potomac do, but it was set up for Tommy John (surgery). When they cut me open they saw that my ligament was stretched instead of torn, so I had Tommy John (surgery). All in all, it was 22 straight months of rehab. Most IP, 2015: 6.0 last (8-12) vs. Carolina Most IP, Career: 6.0 last ( ) vs. Carolina Process Of Coming Back: Mindset-wise, the Royals have presented all the opportunities in the world to help us through (major injuries). We ve got a mental skills coach who I worked with...early in Lexington my velocity was down, and it was just more of the fact of not trusting my stuff. (My injury) could be a blessing in disguise, but missing all of the 2013 season was hard on me. Baseball has been my life, so sitting out a full year was tough, and then I missed all of the 2014 season except that last month. Mentally, I ve approached it as I ve just got to Career Numbers do me and trust everything I ve got and give it my all every day I ve seen my velocity go up a little bit (since the surgery). As far as confidence, I really didn t have confidence in my elbow until just a couple months ago when Year/Teams(s) W-L ERA IP Carlos Reyes the pitching coach down in Lexington was my rehab pitching coach kind of just took me aside 2012 (Idaho Falls) and (said) listen, you ve got to trust it, and you ve just got to let it go. And it was just a flip of the switch. I just trusted it, and I was like if it s going to go again, it s going to go, I can t hold back. My velocity came back and 2013 Did not play due to injury actually jumped a little bit. It s been good so far, and I still do rehab every day with (trainer James) Stone here, just to keep my maintenance up and keep my elbow strong (Idaho Falls) (Lexington) (Wilmington) Wrong Side Of The Rubber?: I do (pitch from the right side of the mound). I shouldn t, but I do. It s a big no-no for us lefties. But I grew up idolizing Cliff Lee. He did it and dominated, and I always wanted to do that and I still do it. It s a comfort thing. (Coaches) always (try to change where I stand on the mound) When I blew up my elbow in 2013, coming The Book on Matthew (2015) At Home: 1-2, 2.67 On the Road: 0-2, 4.26 LH Opp Avg:.161 RH Opp Avg:.226 Record when he pitches: 4-8 Wilmington Record when he starts: 2-7 Run Support (overall): 3.3 Run Support (starting): 3.0 ERA: 3.25 Season-High K s: 9, 6-26 vs. Potomac back from rehab not throwing off a mound for a year, they said we re going to switch you to the left side. I was open to it, Totals did everything with it, and I just struggled getting the ball glove-side down. They finally said go back to it, and if it causes problems facing left-handed hitters later on, we ll switch it. So far, I haven t heard anything about being switched back, but eventually I m sure (I) will, and I totally understand it, but right now it s just a comfort thing and I like it over there Appearances (Lexington & Wilmington) Date OPP G GS DEC ERA IP H R ER BB SO HR HBP WP Score Upon Exit Result Notes Apr. 1 0 SV LEX, 3-1 W, 3-1 First save since Sept Apr. 2 0 ND GVL, 5-3 L, 8-4 Allowed first earned run of year Apr. 21 GVL 3 0 ND GVL, 5-3 L, 5-3 Longest outing with LEX Apr. 4 0 L WV, 5-4 L, 5-4 First loss since Aug. 23, 2012 May 5 0 SV LEX, 6-3 W, 6-3 4th road app. in 5 games May 9 KAN 6 0 ND LEX, 8-5 L, 13-8 LEX allowed 8 runs in 9th May 10 KAN 7 0 W LEX, 11-6 W, days rest for first time in career May 8 0 SV LEX, 5-2 W, 5-2 1st of 4 multi-inn. appearances May 9 0 SV LEX, W, Most run support this season May 22 HAG 10 0 ND LEX, 5-1 W, 5-1 Stranded only inherited runner May 11 0 W KAN, 3-2 W, 4-3 LEX scored twice in 9th to take lead Jun ND ROM, 5-2 L, 5-2 Ended 4-game streak of multi-inn. app. Jun ND W, 3-2 LEX would win in 13 innings Jun. 10 LWD 14 0 ND LWD, 4-1 W, 5-4 LEX scored 4 in 9th for walk-off win WILMINGTON Jun. 16 SAL 15 0 ND L, 4-3 Adv.-A debut Jun ND WIL, 6-0 W, 6-0 Game was suspended due to rain Jun. 26 POT 17 1 W WIL 5-1 W, 5-1 1st start of 2014, 2nd of career Jul. 2 LYN 18 1 SV WIL 3-2 W, 3-2 First Advanced-A save Jul. 7 FRE 19 2 ND FRE 2-0 L, 4-3 Longest career outing Jul ND LYN 8-4 L, 8-4 Shortest outing since Jun. 1 Jul L CAR 5-2 L, 8-2 All five runs came in 5th inn. I saw he texted me and said, Do you have your passport? and I was like, Oh gosh, did I get traded? I called him back and was a little nervous and he asked me if I was interested in playing in the Pan-Am Games and I said, Yeah, absolutely, kind of thinking that it was at least two or three weeks away and (he told me I d have to fly the next morning). It was a bit overwhelming but it was a great experience. It s a real honor to play for your country and play with the group of guys that was there. A lot of veterans who have been playing in the big leagues for a while and some young guys, so it was a good group. Unfortunately, we didn t come out on top, but we won silver and it was an experience I ll never forget. I think the experience from last year to this year helped me a lot. I knew what to expect going back to Lexington and I didn t put so much pressure on myself. I just played the game as I ve played it my whole life. I think I m just more relaxed and I had a better start to this year... (Moving to Florida) was a baseball decision my dad basically said that he thought I had a better chance of getting drafted out of Florida than Puerto Rico It was a great decision and I think that s why I got drafted, because of my experience playing in Florida... I like Carlos Beltran and Roberto Clemente before (that). I never got a chance to see (Clemente) play, but Roberto Clemente has the best character. He died trying to help others so I try to follow his character and try to mimic him. Right now one of my favorite players is Carlos Beltran. He s Puerto Rican, he plays baseball the right way so I try to mimic both of them. #7 Carlos Garcia, IF 5-10, 172 Lives: Margarita, Venezuela LG: August 23 vs. SAL: 1-4, 3B, R, K Home Stand: 8-22, 2 3B, 2B, 2RBI, 4R, 2BB, 4K, SB Notes: Signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Royals on His father, Carlos Albert Garcia, also spent time in pro ball. I m just trying to have a little patience at the plate so Mauricio (Ramos) and (the middle of out order) can drive me in...(offense) is about confidence. I ve been talking to Abraham Nunez I ve known him for two or three years, he s a really good hitting coach. He s been talking to me about my feel for the type of ballpark we have in Wilmington. The ball doesn t really fly there so we have to keep swinging at the pitches down.

In (the Dominican Republic) it is the age that players typically sign with Major League teams. I was honored to be given an opportunity to sign at that age and I m glad to be here. It was hard, when I became a part of a professional team I had to leave my family back (in D.R.) and think about my job and try to be a better player everyday...the difference (between Low-A and Advanced-A) is not too big. You see better pitchers here, but you try to keep your approach and do your best everyday and help your team to win. At first, it was tough (being in Wilmington) because I started kind of slow. I have been talking to my teammates about making the approach at this League. Since then I m used to it. I think I ve gotten better and I m having better at-bats...frawley Stadium is very big. The stadium down in Lexington is much smaller, but the way you play is not too much different. I have the same swing and my approach has always been for line drives. I just want to put the ball in play...i work hard everyday at the plate and at different times in the field. I just want to be a better player and make my dream to play in the big leagues come true. (Seeing the Royals in the World Series) was awesome. I wish nothing but the best for those guys, especially Terrance [Gore] and [Brandon Finnegan]. They were just with us here last year and you ve got to wish them nothing but the best. You get chills once you see what this organization has gone through and where we re at now... Alcides Escobar is somebody that a lot of infielders look up to. The way he plays defense, the way he steals bases, the way he produces hitting and everything he does. Offensively, we just need to step up and start scoring a couple more runs. A little more situational hitting, maybe just an inning starter would help. We ll be fine. It s baseball, that s how it works sometimes...it s a, next guy up, type of mentality (in the clubhouse). We ve got some new bats in this locker room that can swing it as well so we re not too worried about it, it s just a coincidence that today we didn t swing it as well...i got the opportunity to play for (Brian Buchanan) in Instructional League. I love it. He expects you to come work hard and be on time. As long as you re playing hard and on time, you re not going to have many problems. I enjoy playing for him and I like him as a guy as well. #41 Santiago Nessy, C 6-2, 230 Lives: Caracas, Venezuela LG: August 23 vs. SAL: 0-3, K Home Stand: 0-6, RBI, 3K Notes: Acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays on in exchange for RHP Liam Hendricks...Originally signed at 16 years old as an undrafted free agent on July 2, Notes: - Spent entire season with DSL Blue Jays (.248, 2 HR, 17 RBIs) - Threw out 25 percent of attempted base stealers 2011 Notes: - Spent entire season with GCL Blue Jays (.306, 3 HR, 19 RBIs) - Recorded his highest batting average as a professional - Split time between Rookie-Level and Short Season-A - Batted.256 with Rookie-Level Bluefield before being called up - Struggled in six games with Short Season Vancouver, batting Spent the entire season with Low-A Lansing (.241, 5 HR, 23 RBIs) - Recorded a career-high in hits at a single level with 54 in 61 games - Split time between Low-A and Advanced-A - Batted.241 at Low-A before being called up at the All-Star break - Played 25 games for Adv.-A Dunedin (.211, 0 HR, 12 RBIs) - Career-highs in hits (55), doubles (17), and RBIs (28) - Started the season at Double-A Northwest Arkansas - Recorded just one hit in his first nine games (1-28, no extra-base hits, no RBI) - Was batting.313 in May before being demoted to Wilmington on May 15 - May 16 at LYN: Blue Rocks debut (0-4) - June 7 vs FRE: First home run with Wilmington (2-for-4, HR, 2RBI, 2R, K) - July 8-19: Season-high seven game hitting streak (10-for-22, HR, 5 2B, 7RBI, 4R) - Last 11 games: 0-for-31 (Has not produced hit since Jul. 24 at SAL) They said it: (I ve been) competing and preparing myself better. Mentally, I have a positive mind. Being positive helps a lot. Obviously, working with Abraham Nunez, our hitting coach, has been great. We have fun in the cage. We re building a new routine because the routine I had before wasn t working because it was tough on me coming off an injury. I just keep working hard in the cage with Abraham... Working with our hitting coach Abraham Nunez and putting good swings on good balls and swinging at strikes (has led to success at the plate). If you stay up the middle, keep working hard, and competing (the hitting success will continue).

Being in the four-hole (in the lineup), you re going to get a lot of breaking balls and changeups and stuff, but you ve got to stay fastball-minded, because when you get it, you can t miss it. That s the pitch to hit. That s been the main thing: being on time and being able to adjust to mistake pitches. #9 Robert Pehl, IF 6-1, 205 Lives: Chehalis, WA LG: August 22 vs. SAL: 0-3, R, BB, K Home Stand: 2-10, RBI, R, BB, 4K Notes: Selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 11th round of the 2014 June Amateur Draft. West High, Chehalis, Wash., 2011, with a 3.97 GPA...batted over.500 all four seasons...helped his team to a 91-9 mark over four years and the 2010 state championship...attended the University of Washington.. was both a high school and college teammate of Erik Forgione, who is currently in the Pirates organization. - Spent entire year with Rookie-Level Idaho Falls (.332, 3 HR, 41 RBIs) - June 17 vs. ORM: Made professional debut - Pioneer League All-Star, Postseason All-Star - Tied for fifth in the league in hits (80) and sixth in doubles (16) - Seventh in APP League in average (.332) and on-base percentage (.400) - Ninth in APP League in RBIs (41) - April 12: Recorded first Adv.-A hit at MB. Went 2-3 with R, RBI, BB, SB - May 11 vs LYN: Hit first XBH (2B) of season (2-for-4, RBI, R, BB) - June 20 at FRE: First HR of season (1-for-3 in game) - Batted.152 (5-for-33) in 11 games in June after batting.289 in 25 games in May They said it: The key for me is that I stick to my approach. I pick out a spot and I pick out a pitch that I like and try to stay disciplined and only look for that one. (I try to) not give in and swing at marginal pitches. Everybody gives in and chases once in awhile but I try to limit that and really stick to the part of the zone that I m looking for. A lot of (what I m looking for) is getting a feel for what the guy is doing to you (pattern-wise) and also what are your strengths and what you can do best. You want to do what you can do, not let the pitcher dictate what you do in the at-bat. You ve got to stay in control and just stick to what you do best and what you like to hit, especially when you re ahead in the count... Lineup-wise, there s just as much talent now (as there was at the beginning of the season). Great guys came up to fill for guys who moved on. I feel like it s always a difficult adjustment with a new group of guys, it s almost like a new team personality in the second-half. There s just too much talent here not to win. #29 Mauricio Ramos, IF 6-1, 181 Lives: Cartagena, Colombia LG: August 23 vs. SAL: 0-4, 2K Home Stand: 2-18, HR, 3RBI, 2R, 5K Notes: Signed as a non-drafted free agent on August 26, Named 2011 Rookie of the Year in the Colombian Winter League... (left-center and right-center) is my approach. When I hit the ball hard I m always thinking double...i don t always think offensively, baseball is offense and defense. If someday I m not hitting well, I try to practice my defense, too...i don t change my swing (for homeruns). I just think about hitting the ball hard. I think my approach is to hit doubles, but if I can hit a homerun it s good, I ll take it. If I just try to play well then everything will be fine. #23 Dominique Taylor, OF 6-1, 200 Lives: Layton, UT LG: August 23 vs. SAL: 1-3, SB Home Stand: 5-14, 2 2B, RBI, 2R, BB, 3K, SB Notes: Selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 15th round of the June 2013 Free Agent Draft. My mom s father was in the Air Force and my dad s parents were both teachers in the Department of Defense so that s how they met in Germany. They both joined the Army while they were in Germany so that s where I was born. I only lived for a couple of years and I ve bounced all around. I ve lived in Dallas, Texas. I ve lived in San Diego and I currently live in Salt Lake City...The biggest thing is picking a routine and sticking to it. For me, I try to have an approach of hitting the ball the other way and to swing down, hit groundballs and line drives. If you pop the ball up you have no chance of getting a hit so I try to stick to that routine everyday.
