If entering online, all stabling needs to be done through WBTWF I Late Fee Information Entries must be postmarked, ed, faxed, submitted online, or dropped off by 11:59 pm Jan 20 th to be on-time. The submission date of an entry is valid when the entry contains sufficient horse, rider, owner, and trainer information, membership verifications, signatures, and payment. An with what classes you want and CC info is not valid. A postmark is the date stamped on the envelope, not the day it was placed in a mailbox. Each day late after Jan 20 th will incur a $10 late fee per day, up to $100 maximum late fee. For paper entries, add the appropriate fee. For online entries, the first day's late fee (Jan 21 st, $10) will be automatically added after the closing date (Jan 20 th ). For any day past Jan 21 st, you must add the custom Late Fee x the quantity of days late. If you enter Jan 26 th, you are 6 days late. The first day is added automatically; you need to add 5 additional late fees (5 x $10). The late fee is for the entire show. Do not double late fee when entering WBTWF I & WBTWF II. The online entries will only automatically add the 1 st day late fee for WBTWF I. If you are entering both WBTWF I & II online, add late fees onto WBTWF I only. If you are entering only WBTWF II (Sunday), manually add the appropriate late fee x quantity. By entering the show, you authorize us to amend your show entry fees as necessary to fulfill mathematical errors, late fees, non-member fees, and other appropriate fees. Any non-member fee refund requests must be submitted to WhiteFencesFL@gmail.com within 7 days of end of show. Anything else will be considered a donation to the show.
5 Effective Dec 1, 2015 per USEF Rule GR 845: At Federation licensed competitions, horses entering the grounds must be accompanied by documentation of Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinopneumonitis) vaccinations within six months prior to entering the stables. Horses not in compliance with this rule may be required to leave the competition grounds upon request by Competition Management. Per USEF, this has been interpreted to include all horses entering grounds, including hack-ins and trailer-ins. Do not submit the papers to show management ahead of time. Have them in your trailer, in a groom bag, etc at all times so that they can be produced upon request. Note: Riders must check in at show office at least 1 hour before ride time and use White Fences supplied bridle numbers. Entrants who do not check in at the office to pick up numbers at least 1 hour before ride time may be considered a no-show/scratch for show.
6 Mandatory Checklist for Entries: (every single item is even more than Mandatory!) Use this checklist. Anything missing will delay your entry processing and it makes my day more difficult! =) (Certain exceptions apply: Intro, Non-competing, Opportunity, Exhibition) Horse name and stats, owner, rider and trainer name, full address, , and telephone info Same is permissible. If you have shown at WF within the last year, we do not need all the details (address, phone, , horse stats, etc) Show correspondence will be via and website Class information filled in. Qualifying and fees, if necessary. Rider status (AA, Open, Jr, YR [B-day]) Owner, Rider, and Trainer signatures on entry form ~~~~3 signature boxes filled~~~~ Negative Coggins drawn no earlier than 1 year before show (Palm Beach County law for horses to enter equestrian facility) We do not keep yours on file. Owner, rider, trainer, (coach if applicable) and horse cards for USEF and USDF from RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIPS!!! Cards cannot say expired 11/30/17!!! Print all the cards on 1 sheet USDF / USEF Non-member forms or registrations, as necessary Check/Money Order made out to WFEC Shows or full Credit Card info with 3/4 digit code, Zip code, and expiration date (we do not need your full billing address)
7 General Information: 1. Make check or money order payable to WFEC Shows and mail with completed entry form, available from and all required documentation to: WBTWF I & II 3978 Hanover Cir. Loxahatchee, FL Do not send entries registered or signaturerequired. You may also drop entries off in drop box by showgrounds mailbox. 2. Bounced checks will incur a $50 fee and payment must be made by money order, certified check, or cash in person. 3. Entrants must check in at show office to pick up provided bridle numbers. Bridle numbers not picked up at least 1 hour before ride time will be considered a no-show/scratch for entire show. 4. Schooling, entry pickup, and stabling move-in is available starting noon on Thursday. Stabling move-in is highly recommended on Thursday. Stabling move-in during show may be more difficult 5. Stabling: Limited availability as permanent wood and tent stalls, 10'x10', with doors. Tack stalls are available for same price. Double stalls available only in tent. For group stabling, make sure all members use exact same group name. Sharps containers throughout stabling areas. 6. Awards: Ribbons will be awarded from 1st to 18th place for every class, each day. Various non-cash prizes will also be awarded. 7. Footing/Arenas: Competition will take place in 20m x 60m GGT-sand all-weather arenas. Warmup rings are 2 20m x 60m GGT-sand arenas, one of which is mirrored all-weather. GGT- sand all-weather round pen for lunging, and ample grass fields are available. No lunging in arenas. 8. Concessions: Free food and drinks will be provided throughout the show. 9. Refunds: Refunds, less office fee, can be given, when requested in writing to WhiteFencesFL@gmail.com before closing date. No refunds of any kind will be given for any reason (including with vet note) after the closing date. Moving an entry to the next show is the same as giving a refund. We are happy to give class fee credits if you need to scratch and are able to scribe or ring steward. 10. Opportunity Classes: Available to all riders, including those cross-entered in recognized classes. No USEF or USDF membership numbers for rider, trainer, or horse are required. No USEF/Drug Fee is required. Scores do not count for any standings. See USEF.org for info. 11. Freestyles: Music must be provided on a CD or MP3 player with standard headphone jack. Tapes/cassettes are not accepted. Sound check is available on Friday during schooling. Rider must submit copy of necessary test score for appropriate level. Certain computers burn CDs in non-universal formats. No guarantee of sound quality without sound check. 12. Non-competing Horses: Non-competing horses do not need any USDF or USEF memberships and have access to showgrounds from Thurs-Sunday for schooling. All entries require Office Fee, Non-Competing Horse Fee ($50), Coggins, and all 3 signatures. Number of non-competes in show is limited at manager's discretion. 13. Late Entries: Mailed entries are considered late if postmarked after the closing date. Dropped off entries are considered late if they are dropped off after the closing date. Late entries are accepted at the discretion of the Secretary with appropriate late fees. 14. Qualifying Classes: If entering a GAIG/USDF qualifying class please indicate and include the $15 Qualifying Fee. Copies of all cards, including USDF Lifetime Horse Registration must be included. 15. Office Fee: The office fee ($45) is required for each horse-rider combination for every entry. 16. Tentative ride times will be available on Official times will be posted at the show office by noon, Thursday before the show. 17. All dogs must be leashed on a maximum 6-foot lead. 18. Helmets: Helmets must be worn by all riders when mounted on the showgrounds. 19. Vet and Farrier will be on call during show. Contact information will be available in show office. EMT will be on grounds.
8 20. Completed tests can be mailed back after show if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is provided with entry forms. Unclaimed tests will be discarded at end of season (Nov 30) 21. Directions: Located in the White Fences community. From Wellington: Take Southern Blvd (SR 80) West and turn right (North) on Seminole-Pratt Whitney Road. At Sycamore Dr (2 nd traffic light), turn left (West). At stop sign, turn left through White Fences gate onto Horse Trail. At T, turn left onto Hanover Cir. Trailers: At Y, turn left to go South on Buck Ridge Trl. Take 2 nd bridge over canal into parking field. Cars may park anywhere along perimeter fence of showgrounds. Please do not block gates/entraces. Because of limited parking area, please refrain from parking nontrailering vehicles in trailer field.
