To maximize the activity and increase the Motorsport Industry competitiveness in Catalonia To identify the development degree and to detect opportunities that maximize their regional impact To define a roadmap to achieve the wanted growth, that covers all the present and future needs of the different agents related to Motorsport in Catalonia To promote the interest and participation in a common project that wants to improve Motorsport in Catalonia. To attract adhesions between the different actors and to promote collaborations in all levels To recover the spirit of participation and organization, that allowed and allows us to shine on big occasions 4

16 motorsport2020.cat proposes 17 initial projects 1. Creation of a website, brand, communication portal and a structure for the coordination and leadership of motorsport in Catalonia. 2. Launch of an Off-road license: green card and practice areas 3. Creation and promotion of the International Motorsport Show: BARCELONA MOTORSPORT SHOW 4. Boosting of FORMULA STUDENT / KART ACADEMY in collaboration with university engineering students, and creation of new projects Promotion of an International Karting Circuit. Approval of the project of a Karting Circuit near Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya 6. Development of health science applied to motorsport (medicine, physiotherapy, nutrition, ergonomics, etc.) 7. Application of a tax reduction for motorsport companies establishing and/or investing in Catalonia 8. Creation and launch of the Gentlemen s Experience 9. Joint work of event organizers and companies from the motorsport industry (e.g. manufacturers, components, etc.) in order to attract teams to Catalonia. 10. Creation of international motorsports events (enduro, trial, rally cross, autocross, etc.) 11. Attraction of promotions / presentations related to motorsport (components, vehicles, teams or competitions) 12. Creation of an International Race Riders and Drivers School: La Masia del Motorsport 13. Improvement of the management education in all motorsport establishments: racetracks, teams and events. 14. Development of a program for entrepreneurs for the complete chain of value in motorsport. 15. Review and simplification of motorsport regulations and homologation of accessories. 16. Committing to and developing new motorsport categories (e.g. electric class) 17. Creation of a new benchmark centre for motorsport linked to one or several racetracks 16
