2 Welcome to our 2nd annual Speed Weekend. After the unexpected success of last year s event we feel privileged to again host the RC Banger World Series welcoming all visiting drivers and appreciate the considerable distance travelled. Many thanks to Mike Murray and Scott Waite for organising and promoting the RCBWS throughout the year. Thanks also to Keith Dowsett for making the long trip down this weekend with the Kamtec shop and for the support of our club throughout the year. Our appreciation also goes to all the drivers who have supported the club so far this season, for the great racing and some amazing car preparation. We still have several highlights to follow this season; Our 3rd annual Cornish Championships will be run over two separate events in September for Bangers and Saloonstox. The Halloween Hearse event in November promises to be even more spectacular with UV lighting and fluorescent paint. The Team Championship is still to be decided having run 2 of 4 rounds with The Bethel Wreckers and Fast Toilet currently tied in first place with the next team round on August 29, the evening before the full size Autospeed Blockbuster event. Good luck to all drivers competing this weekend, I hope you all enjoy yourselves. Have fun and leave a tidy pit table and with a smile on your face!
