Members of the Arizona State baseball team take part in the Guadalupe Project each week and teach baseball and life skills to the youth of Guadalupe. The T.A.L.E.S. Speaker s Bureau arranges for student-athletes to speak to children in local area schools and community youth groups throughout the year. Topics include doing well in school, reading, staying away from drugs and other negative influences, and the importance of participating in sports as a healthy and fun activity. ASU baseball, along with the Tempe Diablos, co-sponsors free clinics for Valley youth during the fall as well.
