We are the Upper Darby Summer Stage SHOOTING STARS (Clap, Stomp) OK, guys, letʼs not get carried away! For the past 15 years, the Shooting Stars have been entertaining audiences all over the area and we are excited to be celebrating another Summer Stage night here at Rose Tree. Tonight we are excited to bring you some of our best songs and medleys from years past. Our next number was performed way back when the group was first started. Composers Ahrens and Flaherty have created some memorable opening sequences to their Broadway productions. Here now is an excerpt from their musical Once On this Island. (Black, take off stand) April: (Yellow) The musical All Shook Up takes the music of Elvis Presley and transforms it into an entertaining and hilarious story of how a run-down town is transformed when a motorcycle ridinʼ roustabout arrives. It is the story of the witches of Oz before Dorothy ever arrived. This summer our mainstage program is honored to present the musical Titanic, which portrays the stories of the actual people who were aboard the ship when it first set sail on April 10, Here now to tell you more about this exciting production is director, Marcus Stevens.
