1 Congratulations on being accepted into the Showstoppers Dance Company For those of you who are new to Showstoppers, the Gotta Dance team leaders are Jana Belot (Executive Director of Gotta Dance), Gabriel Chajnik (Artistic Director of Concerts), Mandy Mondoro (Coordinator and Assistant to the Directors) and Sarah Gulbin (Project Manager and Event Planner). Locate your subject and group name below and follow the schedule for the first three rehearsals, April 14, May 4, and May 5. Remaining rehearsals on May 11, May 19, May 25, June 2, June 4, and June 6 are to be determined and will be ed to you by Monday, May 6. Rehearsals are generally in three hour time blocks. Beontimeforallrehearsalsandperformances.Scheduleremindersandupdateswillbe edatvarioustimes throughouttheprocess.attendancewillbetakenatthebeginningofallrehearsalsandconcertwarmeups.repeated latearrival(2timesofmorethan5minutes)willresultinlossofashow.latearrivalathirdtimewillresultin dismissalfromshowstoppers.anymissedrehearsalorshowwillresultindismissalfromshowstoppers. AdheretotheGottaDancedresscodeforallrehearsalsandconcertwarmEups.SeetheGottaDancewebsitefor classattireguidelinesifyouareunsure. Beresponsibleforlearningyourchoreographyandretainingitfromweektoweek.Actinaprofessionalmanner duringallrehearsals. Actprofessionallyduringshowsbybeingonstageontimeforallentrances,wearingyourcostumeasinstructed,and remainingindesignateddancerareasinthecollege.theconsequenceforrepeateddisciplinaryactionsisthelossof aperformanceordismissalfromthecompany. PaythenonErefundableproductionfeesnolaterthanMarch8.Productionfeesincludecostsforjudges, choreographers,rehearsals,costumesandaccessories,lighting,stagerental,etc.andaresubstantiallysubsidizedby GottaDance.Theproductionfeeyouarechargedisasmallportionofthetotalproductioncost. AllShowstopperscostumesarethepropertyofGottaDanceandaretobereturnedattheendoftheproduction. If#you#are#double#cast Youwillbepairedupwithadancerduringthefirstrehearsal.Youwilltaketurnsrehearsingyourpart. Performanceswillbesplitequally. Doublecastdancersareexpectedtoattendallregularanddressrehearsalsforyoursection.Acastmatecannotcoverforyou Doublecastperformancescheduleswillbe edbyMay17.Oncedoublecastschedulesaremade,NOswitchingof performancesisallowed.failuretoadheretothisrulewillresultinimmediatedismissalfromshowstoppers. Requests received after March 8 will not be considered. 5. Allow Gotta Dance to use any photo taken during rehearsals and performances for the purpose of marketing and public relations. 6. Check s every day from March 8-June 15 for schedule updates, etc. s will be the only source of information throughout the season. **If you need to set up a payment schedule, please ShowstoppersInfo@gmail.com before the payment deadline. There will be no refunds if a dancer is dropped or withdrawals from the company. If we do not receive all of your registration information by March 8, we will assume you will not be participating in Showstoppers.
