1 the Special Cruise Edition ISSUE 29 NOVEMBER 2016 Folks- I hope that you enjoy this commemorative edition of our newsletter. Hollie and her team have done an outstanding job of capturing what an amazing success our celebratory cruise was. As you can see from the photos, it looks like we took full advantage of the ship and the excursions. All Risks folks were everywhere! If the photos are any indication, you had as much fun as I did. The cruise brought together our far flung teams from around the country to celebrate two milestone events. The first was passing 50 years in business. That remarkable achievement sets us apart from most companies in America. More impressive is that over the years, as we have grown in size and scope, we have held true to our values. Any independent observer on the ship would say that we have managed to become a large company without feeling like one. Growth in our case hasn t meant a watered down culture. Each one of us shares an affinity and a commitment to All Risks and to our coworkers that is pretty extraordinary. It was on display in the friendships that span offices and departments. This is a group that clearly likes being together! The second milestone was exceeding one billion in premiums. It is hard to imagine that we passed that number and now sit at over one billion and a half. Our recipe is pretty simple. Bright, Talented, Accountable People Aggressive Pursuit of Opportunities A Trusting and Supportive Company + + = Results Others Simply Can t Fathom This is a special place because of the special people that make up the company. Thank you for all that you do each and every day. Our growth rate continues to be driven by this formula. Each coworker plays a unique role in this equation. Every new growth record is a team win. The cruise was a great opportunity to celebrate what we have accomplished together. Someone recently asked me what my favorite part of the cruise was. After a few minutes of thought, I realized that favorite part of the cruise was standing on the stage at the Orpheum Theater and looking out at the team we had assembled. The reason All Risks is a special and exceptional company was laid out before me. I was humbled by the bright, energetic, thoughtful, and kind people in that room who had hitched their wagons to All Risks. This is a special place because of the special people that make up the company. 7 It was a fantastic experience my first cruise ever! I got to meet a bunch of folks from our other offices, which was pretty cool.
