1 1 st ANNUAL APA/ABA DOUBLE OPEN POULTRY SHOW YEPA SANCTIONED JUNIOR SHOW AND SHOWMANSHIP March 30-31, 2018 at the KVLS/Osceola County Fairground 1911 Kissimmee Valley Lane, Kissimmee JUDGES: Danny Padgett, FL Rip Stavey, FL Sam Brush, TX CONTACTS Shereen Simmons - Show Superintendent Annette Nation Secretary/Treasurer Jennifer Walter - Show Secretary cfhpc@yahoo.com Greetings Fellow Exhibitors, The Central Florida Heritage Poultry Classic is excited to announce its 1 st annual Exhibition poultry show. Our goal in organizing this event is to promote the poultry industry. The Board and members want to extend to you and your friends a very special invitation to exhibit your birds at the facilities of the KVLS/Osceola County Fairground. This facility has an air-conditioned main show room and ventilated barn area with plenty of room for everyone. This event is open to all adult and youth poultry exhibitors in the United States. With two APA and ABA sanctioned shows, a YEPA sanctioned Junior show with Showmanship, raffles, vendors, swap, good food, and more, you are certain to have a good time and make new friends. Youth birds are only judged once. We require that your birds be NPIP certified and tested prior to the show. A representative from the Florida State Department of Agriculture will be on-site to test your poultry. There is no cost for this test. Due to the history of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, Florida requires anyone coming in from out of state to get a permit before bringing your birds in. Please call Florida Department of Agriculture at for import permit! We will also have camper water/power hookup available for $20/$10 night with/without hookup. Registration online only. If you are a vendor, or have birds to sell, we will have tables/spaces available for rent at $10 a table/space for exhibitors or $25 for non-exhibitors. (Those with birds must have a NPIP number). Just let us know how many you will need. NO BIRDS are to be sold on the grounds outside the sales area. As this is our first year it would be helpful to have some volunteers to help us. Entries can be done online with payment thru credit card on a secure site UNTIL 3/11/2018. Otherwise entries can be mailed in with payment by check or money order (postmark by 3/1/2018). Any changes you may do so by by 3/11/2018.
