1 RAMAPOUGH LUNAAPE NATION 2011 FALL EVENT SCHEDULE Welcome to the 2011 Ramapough Lunaape Fall Event Schedule. This year the Annual Powwow will be Sally s Field, Ringwood State Park, Ringwood, N.J , on September 17 th - 18 th. Vending spaces are available on a first come first serve basis. This event will be heavily publicized, and we welcome you to join us as a vendor, dancer, or demonstrator. Hours: Saturday: 10 a.m.- 6p.m, Sunday: 10a.m.- 5 p.m. Grand 1 p.m. each day. Vendor space is as follows: Food vendor: $ ($75.00 deposit), Artist/Crafter: $ ($50.00 deposit). Ramapough Tribal Member: $ ($50.00 deposit) Note: all deposits are non refundable. Balance to be collected Sunday morning of event. As is, and remains our policy-only American Indians are invited to register and vend! Additionally, The Ramapough Lunaape Nation is hosting a Cultural Festival the following Friday and Saturday, September 23 rd -24 Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus rd., Paramus, NJ (Near the Tennis Courts). This event will end a week long celebration of Indigenous People of the world. We also welcome you to join us to vend, or demonstrate. Food Vendor: $ ($50.00 deposit), Artist Crafter: $ ($50.00 deposit). HOURS: Fri.-12-5p.m, Sat.10-5p.m Grand 1 p.m. both days. Lastly, We still have a few vending spaces Black Creek Powwow, Sunday, September 25 th. This is a one day event, however it is heavily patronized. Any Ramapough Dancer, (who lives out of the immediate area) needing lodging, please contact Autumn Wind. We are able to offer you at this time a bundled price if you are available to vend at all three events. Food: $ ($75.00 savings). Artist/Crafter: $ ($50.00 savings). Ramapough Tribal Member $ ($50.00 savings). DEADLINE FOR RETURNED CONTRACT IS: SEPTEMBER 1 st, (no exceptions). Please signify which events you will be attending on contract. As always, these are drug/alcohol free events. These events are an important cultural and educational opportunity for us as Indigenous people to present our culture as we see it, without the glamorization and distortion that is too often portrayed in popular culture. As Producer of this event, I have the right to inspect all items sold and displayed, and do also disallow the sale of any items detrimental to American Indian Culture. All booths must be set up by 9:00 a.m. inspection, Saturday, September 17, :00 a.m. Friday, September 23rd, and 9a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25th. I have read and hereby agree to the terms as set forth in this contract. I hereby agree to hold the Ramapough Nation, Ringwood State Park, their representatives, and powwow production team harmless from and against any liability, loss, damage, or claim, including damage to property from fire, theft, accident, or any other cause of injury to myself, my employees, or invitee on the premise of my assigned space, and the entire grounds of Sally s Field, Bergen Community College, and/or Black Creek. Take Route 17 FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY Exit 163 to Route 17 North through Mahwah into N.Y. State toward Albany. Exit 15A. Left on Rte 17 north to Ringwood Exit.
