3 The Golf Course Designed by renowned Australian golfer Graham Marsh, the North Lakes Golf Club layout is a 6455 metre par 72 Championship resort course which has been specifically created to provide a challenge to shot making without being a torturous test of golf. Format of Corporate Golf Day Arrival Upon arrival at North Lakes Golf Club your guests will be greeted by our staff who will assist with baggage handling.

6 Format of Corporate Golf Day Arrival Upon arrival at North Lakes Golf Club your guests will be greeted by our staff who will assist with baggage handling. Each player will be issued with a customised scorecard and players brief outlining rules of the day. These will be located on the steering wheel of each cart. Registration Player registration is conducted in the Clubhouse and can be assisted by North Lakes professional staff. If required players may be issued a gift bag or name tag at this check point. The players will also have access to complimentary male and female lockers and a breakfast or lunch can be provided during this time. 15 minutes prior to tee off the players will be addressed at their carts by our Head Marshall explaining the rules for the day. On Course A marshall will be circulating throughout the round ensuring steady pace of play. Duration of the round is approximately 4 ½ to 5 hours. Presentation A presentation table, microphone and lectern will be available for speeches and prizes during the dining period. Our staff can coordinate and assist with the setting up of prizes for this time. Starting Options Shotgun Start - A shotgun start is a golf tournament format in which all groups of players tee off simultaneously from designated holes. This is the ideal start for larger groups allowing all teams to return to the Clubhouse at similar times for the after game function and presentation of prizes. A minimum of 40 players are required for a shotgun start. Single Tee Start - This is a commonly used structure suitable for smaller groups. Golfers tee off from the first tee in 8-minute consecutive intervals. Used for 40 players or less. Competition Formats Ambrose - A friendly format, fun for all standards of golfers and used in the vast majority of Corporate Golf Days. The Ambrose format is very popular as it allows all standards of golfers to mix and play together with equal enjoyment irrespective of ability. It also helps to promote teamwork as one score is recorded per hole and generally minimises the amount of time looking for lost balls. Groups of two players (2 man ambrose) or four players (4 man ambrose) work as a team. Stableford - Stableford is a competition which can be played as an individual competition, a team competition or a combination of both. Stableford is a format most suited where the standard of players in your field is intermediate or higher. Beginner golfers may feel intimidated (even though they can pick up their ball after a certain number of strokes) playing with better golfers.

7 Optional Extra s Signage North Lakes staff are happy to erect signage on course for your event. We request that all signage must arrive 48 hours prior to the event and be collected 48 hours after the event. All signage is stored at the sponsor s risk. All signage must be labelled with Company name, contact number and event the banner is to be used at. Erection of promotional signage on course attracts the following charges: 1-6 holes - Free of charge 7 holes and over - $ inclusive of GST Sponsors Station If your sponsor decides to promote their business on course and would like a sponsors station on a hole of their choice, the charge of $50.00 per hole applies. Our sponsors stations include the erection of umbrella, two chairs, table with linen, esky with ice, rubbish bin and removal of station at completion of your day. (Limited stock) Hire Clubs North Lakes stocks 10 full sets and 8 half sets of Hire Clubs, consisting of the latest Callaway and Ben Hogan Golf Clubs for both Gents and Ladies. Additional sets of clubs can be sourced when required. $50.00 per full set $25.00 per half set Beverage Cart A beverage cart will be circulating throughout your round, fully stocked with a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, sandwiches, hot food and chocolates. All items can either be tallied and charged to your account or at the individuals expense. The beverage cart is manned by North Lakes staff. Golf Clinic The Golf Professional will hold a warm up clinic for all interested players, offering tips and advice for each golfers swing and strategies for the golf course.

With over 600 golf day appearances this very unique Speed Cop knows just how to entertain your guests. Armed with his speed gun, breathalyser, infringement notices and much, much more he always leaves players laughing and often wondering is he a real cop! Cost - $500.00

10 Dress Requirements Men Appropriate shirt with collar Tailored shorts or slacks Golf shoes or sport shoes with predominantly white socks (soft spikes only, metal spikes are not permitted) Any form of denim wear is not acceptable Elastic Waist or Sports shorts is not acceptable Ladies Appropriate ladies golf fashion must be worn Golf shoes or sport shoes with socks Any form of denim wear is not acceptable Soft spikes only (Metal spikes are not permitted) Promotional staff must also adhere to North Lakes dress requirements. As a licensed Club Strictly NO Alcohol is to be brought onto the premises. Alcohol may be purchased at the club on the day, or arranged prior to your day. Golf Course Etiquette 1. All divots must either be replaced or cut in and filled with sand provided 2. Please repair your pitchmarks on all greens 3. A maximum of two (2) people are allowed on 2-seater golf carts 4. Please use the rakes provided to smooth sand in bunkers once used, all rakes should be placed back in the bunker 5. Avoid slow play please keep pace with the group ahead 6. Please allow players behind to play through whilst searching for potentially lost golf balls 7. Leave greens immediately after putting and mark scorecards on the next tee 8. Please drive golf carts with care and observe all signage do not park golf carts within 20 metres of greens, tees or water hazards 9. Do not play your shot until all players are out of range 10. Offensive language and/or behavior will not be tolerated

11 Event Information Please ask to see terms and conditions for full details Tentative Bookings Tentative dates with no deposit will be held for a maximum period of 14 days, after which time a deposit must be made to secure the date. If a second party expresses interest in the same date after a tentative booking has been made, North Lakes will advise both parties of the situation. Under these conditions, the first party to confirm the booking by means of a paid deposit will secure the date in question. Payment Schedule A 30% deposit is required within (7) days together with a signed copy of the terms and conditions, to confirm your booking. Final Payment for fixed costs is required (72) business hours before/prior to the date of the event. Failure to provide payment for the event in advance will result in cancellation of the booking by North Lakes Resort Golf Club. Guaranteed Numbers A guaranteed minimum number of guests attending the event will be required (72) business hours prior to the event. Charges will be rendered according to the guaranteed number of people attending the event or the number on the day of your event, whichever is greater. If notice is not given, North Lakes Resort Golf Club will cater for the estimated number. North Lakes Resort Golf Club shall not be required to cater for more than a 10% increase to the guests attendance confirmed. Hole Allocations Hole allocations for your event are determined by the Group Golf Coordinator unless half day course hire is chosen. Selection of half day course hire guarantees exclusive use of the 18 holes for your round. Booking of Functions in the Clubhouse/Function Rooms/Terrace or Golf Course Where a function takes place in any of the above rooms or areas, North Lakes Resort Golf Club has the right to entertain another function on the same morning, afternoon or evening. There is no guarantee, unless in writing, that the sole use of the Clubhouse will exist. Selection of half day course hire will only guarantee sole use of the golf course. Weather Policy Club Management has the right to declare the course closed if it deems the course un-playable or unsafe due to extreme or inclement weather. In the event that the course is declared closed and play has not commenced, North Lakes Resort Golf Club will offer an alternative date at no additional fee on a space available basis. In the event that the course is declared closed and play has commenced, North Lakes is under no obligation to offer an alternative date for completion of the Tournament nor a refund. Club Management has the right to determine whether carts are required to remain on pathways due to weather and course conditions.
