3 Where The Proceeds Go Since 1910, the Boy Scouts of America provides an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness. Our mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
