The Second Sunday of Lent Gospel-Mark 9:2-10 Jesus took Peter, James, and John and led them up a high mountain apart by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, and his clothes became dazzling white, such as no fuller on earth could bleach them. Then Elijah appeared to them along with Moses, and they were conversing with Jesus. Then Peter said to Jesus in reply, "Rabbi, it is good that we are here! Let us make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." He hardly knew what to say, they were so terrified. Then a cloud came, casting a shadow over them; from the cloud came a voice, "This is my beloved Son. Listen to him." Suddenly, looking around, they no longer saw anyone but Jesus alone with them. As they were coming down from the mountain, he charged them not to relate what they had seen to anyone, except when the Son of Man had risen from the dead. So they kept the matter to themselves, questioning what rising from the dead meant. All applications for Financial Aid are outsourced through FACTS, an independent financial institution the Diocese of Fresno approved. 2. Applications are due to FACTS on or before April 15, Applications are done online at: online.factsmgt.com/aid - if you need assistance please call the office and we will assist your family. 4. FACTS must also receive a copy of your tax return on or before April 15, Cost to apply through FACTS is $ RETURNING FAMILIES MUST APPLY BY APRIL 1 st to considered for Financial Aid. 7. 8 Are you a courteous driver? Are you doing your part to keep OLV Students safe? Dear Parents: Parking will always be limited because our little school is in a neighborhood. The last five minutes before school are extremely busy. We encourage everyone to arrive a few minutes earlier. Here are additional reminders: DO NOT DOUBLE PARK NO U-TURNS THESE ACTIONS ARE DANGEROUS & ILLEGAL North side of Princeton (in Front of OLV): Do not park in the driveway next to school. This is a FIRE LANE! It also blocks pick up of our garbage and recycling. This can result in an additional charge to the school for missed pick up. Parents blocking the driveway will be billed for charges incurred by missed garbage/recycling pick up. If you are driving for a field trip, please park down the street and then move your car to the front of the school after Morning Prayer. East side of Crystal (in front of Mary s Grotto gates): Loading and Unloading ONLY! NO PARKING BEFORE SCHOOL! (or afterschool on rainy days because that is where students will be dismissed). The City of Fresno has posted parking signs in that area and will enforce them. Please remember not to park in front of the OLV Parish Office as this is reserved for the parish visitors, parish staff and Fr. Jesus. Let s keep our kids safe and have a pleasant commute.
