He won the Gold Medal at 2006 WEG Endurance Championships at Aachen, Germany. He was one of eight Shagyas entered in the ride, and one of 65 (40% completion) who completed this tough course. He is sired by the Siglavy Bagdady VII son, Siglavy Bagdady 306 (VIIItm), and is out of the O Bajan XX (Pamino) daughter, Kanya. What a wonderful accomplishment for both Hungary and for Spain. The ten year old *Budapest daughter, PIATTI+/ finished in the Top Ten, in tenth place, at the Lincoln Trail 100 (IL), on September 9, Becky McCarty and the 10 year old mare PIATTI started with Competitive rides and moved to Endurance in her second year. She has over 1,500 combined miles. She was Region mile Endurance Top 5 and Reserve Champion, as well as Region 13 Top Five in In 2006 it was PIATTI Sfourth year of competition, with 23 attempted rides and 19 completions, with one Best Condition, overall.!

SW OMEGA Karen Bish bought the *Oman son, SW Omega, as a long yearling in 1995, and they have been together ever since. When Omega was 6, they moved to Oregon and began their endurance career.

With several great rides nearby, and lots of wonderful experienced riders who shared their advice, they began to compete in earnest. In 2003 Karen decided she and Omega would compete in the Tevis Cup Ride, the year that she turned 50. Omega did beautifully on the Tevis, eating and drinking everything in sight. Karen had a bit more difficult time, but they finished the ride, and she was exhilarated to be part of the 40% who finished the 2006 Tevis.!

His goal was to compete at the FEI level, and in his attempt to qualify for Dubai that year, he qualified by finishing top ten at the Owyhee 100 FEI ride, and receiving high vet scores. Mr. Hasumi has hosted in 2006 the American Endurance delegation, so that there may be FEI level endurance in Japan, in the future. Mr. Hasumi, has competed Internationally with Fayettte, since he purchased her, and has become quite devoted to the sport of endurance. index.html!
