3 Nomination Conditions Nominations to be done at Entries open 7.00pm Monday 30 July 2018 Entries close 9.00pm Sunday 19 August 2018 NOMINATION CONDITIONS The event will be run under EA/FEI rules Membership of Jumping NSW Safety Registrations GST Prize money EA age rules Age of Horse CSI* Horse passports The OC reserves the right to change or amend the program at its discretion. All owners and competitors will be personally responsible for damages to any third parties caused by themselves, their employees, their agents or their animals. All competitors IN EVERY RING must be financial members of EA. To compete in graded classes (height classes above 1.05m), all horses must hold current EA registration and performance cards. Refer to EA General Regulations Art 100. All NSW riders must be financial members of Jumping NSW. Any person mounted upon a horse, must be wearing a properly secured helmet and correct footwear, which must comply with USA, Australian or European helmet standards. Refer to EA General Regulations Art 122. Any person competing in a class, must have a registration in that class either via Global Entries Online or as a change of rider via the Office. GST is included in all fees and charges including entries, stables and prizes. Prize Money will not be given out in any case prize money claim forms will need to be initialed by the Office before payment can be processed. Prize money will be paid via eft in the week immediately after the event. Prize money claim forms will be given to all winning riders. EA Age Rules (taken from the National Jumping Rules Art 255 dated 1 January 2016) for Juniors and Young Riders As per EA rules DOB of horse applies Riders competing in this class must have FEI horse ID papers to start in the class, these ID papers (passports) must be brought to the Fitness Inspection (tbc but 8.00am in the usual place)

Must not have competed in section 1 and 2 at a Royal Show in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth in the past two years Amateur Riders may not compete in an Amateur class if they compete in a class where the first round is higher than 1.20m at that show. Amateur Riders may not compete in an Amateur class on a horse that will compete in any class where the first round is higher than 1.20m at that show. Formal dress rules apply however riders will be permitted to remove their jackets at the discretion of the OC or the Judge of each ring. Will be mounted, and riders are expected to wear their coats. Dogs are welcome but need to be on a leash at all times. Dogs are NOT welcome in the competition or warm up arenas at any stage. Refunds will be given (less a $25 admin fee) before the close of entries. After the close of entries, a 50% refund upon written request to the OC on production of a Veterinary or Medical Certificate will be given. No refunds will be given for horses that do not start in a class once the event has commenced nor will stables be refunded after Wednesday 22 August. These will be allowed, but each entry change will incur a $10 fee such changes will not be actioned until payment is received. Entry changes must be made by 3.00pm each day. Live Editing via Global Entries Online will not attract a fee. Please note when filling out entries for your students or children if you do not correctly fill out the name of your student or child online an admin fee of $25 per student/child will be imposed this applies to any incorrect entry. Where there are concurrent classes (a & b sections) in the program of events, horse & rider combinations may compete in only one part of the class. Horses may start in a maximum of 2 classes per day. Horses may start in one class in one ring and another in a different ring but will not for example, be allowed to do 2 height classes and then an Amateur or Junior event. A horse may only start in ONE class on Sunday. No rider will be permitted more than 3 entries per class. A riders 2nd and/or 3rd horses in a class must be present near to the warm up arena. Classes will not be held up waiting for riders. This will be checked with the National Data Base and will be from the date of issue of the Jumping Card. Ring One with no exceptions at any stage, will follow draw order. These will be added to your entry instead of being absorbed by the OC. To offset this, the Admin and First Aid fee has been reduced by $10 to $15/rider. A horse may have only 1 start on Sunday.
5 Dubbo Eventing and Showjumping Association Waratah Showjumping Club Challenge Sponsored by Dubbo Eventing and Showjumping Association AND COLLEEN BROOK EQUESTRIAN A point score for the club with the highest points over three classes. The top 3 placed riders in classes 11a, 22a and 34a will contribute points towards a Club s score the highest score will win a jump wings, rails and plank made by John Vallance valued at $500. The Rules: Open to Clubs registered with Jumping NSW and affiliated with ENSW Classes for the Club Challenge are 10a D & A Waddell m Open 22a Randwick Equine Centre m Open 34a Horsepower 1.15m Open Top 3 placed riders from nominated clubs in the above classes will receive points towards the Club on a 3,2 and 1 basis (no matter where that rider places in the classes) Clubs will nominate by to the OC (Edwena Mitchell edwena@emcater.com ) or at the Office on Thursday 23 or Friday 24 August with a list of riders eligible Nomination fee per club of $25 The winner will be announced in Ring 1 at the conclusion of Class 30 and the presentation made then. Colleen Brook Equestrian will also add 3 x $50 Trailrace Vouchers to the 3 Individual highest point scores in the Club Challenge.

Abusive behaviour towards any personnel involved in the organisation and running of this event will not be tolerated. Any person inflicting abuse upon such personnel will be asked to leave the premises and all entries will be forfeited. The FEI requires all those involved in international equestrian sport to adhere to the FEI Code of Conduct and to acknowledge and accept that at all times the welfare of the Horse must be paramount. Welfare of the horse must never be subordinated to competitive or commercial influences.
7 Stabling & Camping Stabling at SIEC will be offered for The Riders Series August Show. Stable bookings for the August Riders Series will be done through Waratah Showjumping entries on Global Entries Online (Class 39 is a blank class for those wishing to stable for Riders Series and not attending Waratah Showjumping). The SIEC Training rates will apply for stables for horses being stabled for the period between The Riders Series and Waratah Showjumping, ie Monday and Tuesday but only for horses competing at both events and checking the 9 night box. In this case if you wish to return home between Riders and Waratah, stables do not need to be cleaned out completely. If you choose to stable for only the 5 nights, the same stable cannot be guaranteed for both events, stables must be completely cleaned out and passed by stable manager. Bond will be returned after WS. SIEC has a contract for the supply of stable bedding. Unless your horse has veterinary issues with the shavings supplied, stable bedding (shavings) must be procured from SIEC through the Global entry system. Stables are supplied with shavings.
