We have allocated 10 bags to Class 3 for the winner and placegetters, 10 bags to Class 8 for the winners and placegetters, 10 bags to Class 9 for the winner and placegetters, 9 bags to Classes 12A, 12B and 13 for the winner, second and third place, and 1 bag to the winner of Class 10. General The Organizing Committee reserves the right, at their absolute discretion, to alter or amend any of the conditions, regulations or any aspect of the event they see fit Nominations close on the 12 th of September 2017 Late entries and changes will be taken on the day at the Office, prior to the start of the class only Stabling and camping is now booked through QSEC ( Stables and camping/own yards must be booked by 12 th of September 2017 at 8am. Bookings will not be available after this date. Competitors who wish to set up their own yards (no electric fences, maximum of 3m x 3m) can set them up: o Main Park 2 (unpowered camping sites) Grassed area of stable complex (powered camping sites) Competitors setting up their own yards must still book a camping space through the Nominate link above

5 General - Continued Entries in the Young Horse (Class 1b. Mitavite Young Horse 1.05m) class must be accompanied by proof of age. Age is calculated as at day of show. A QSEC Ground Service Fee of $5 per horse for the weekend and First Aid Levy of $5 per rider per day apply to all entries. All riders must complete a Horse Health Declaration and Waiver prior to competing All riders in Official Classes (Class 1ab, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9) must be current financial members of EA. All horses in Official Classes must be registered with EA All riders in Unofficial Classes (Class 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12ab, 13) must be current financial members of EA or current financial members of the Queensland Showjumping Club Inc. Classes 1a/b and 12a/b will be run in conjunction. Horses may only compete in either A or B of the class, not both Performance cards must be presented to the office before prize money is given in all Official Classes Horses are permitted 2 starts per day in Ring 1 on Saturday, 3 starts per day in Ring 2 on Saturday. Horses may start in any 2 Championships they are eligible for on Sunday This event is run under EA regulations All classes are mounted presentation Event Information The Organizing Committee encourages all riders to be dressed according to FEI dress standards. If weather permits, jackets are required in Ring 1. Australian helmet standards apply, riders must wear helmets and approved riding boots at all times while mounted Classes without a specified points restriction are open to all eligible horses and riders Horses who compete in the Young Horse classes are eligible to compete in all other classes Mitavite Young Horse Showjumping Series Horses must be 4 to 6 years of age to be eligible. Classes will be set at 1.10m maximum height. (Second rounds may exceed 1.10m.) Classes are run under Article unless the class is being run in conjunction with another event. In either case double clean rounds will share the prize pool. Classes will be held at 8 shows throughout the season, these may be subject to change.

6 General Continued Mitavite Young Horse Showjumping Series - Continued Event Information A Mitavite Young Horse Performance Record must be purchased for a fee of $10. The Performance Record is provided to keep track of the horse s points for double and single clean rounds in the Series and for official classes where they jump double clean. Mitavite Performance Records may be purchased at Series events or via the below. In Series classes, horses receive 3 points for jumping a double clean round and 1 point for a single clean round, points will be displayed on the Series Leaderboard. Young horses collect 3 points for jumping double clean rounds in any official event outside of the 8 shows in the Series. It is the rider s responsibility to have the judge sign their Young Horse Record to honour these points. Young Horse Records may be copied and ed in order to update the Leaderboard when requested. The horse keeps a continuous point score regardless of a change of rider. Riders must provide their horses EA Registration Number, date of birth, bloodlines and name of the breeder where possible, to be displayed on the Leaderboard. The horse at the top of the Leaderboard at the end of the Series will be awarded the winner, runner up will also be awarded. The Breeder of the winning horse will be recognised with a trophy from Mitavite. Mitavite Rug, garland, prizemoney and feed vouchers will also be awarded. QRIC Class for Former Racehorses less than 3 years OTT Horses must have competed in an official trial or started in a race, locally, nationally, or internationally to contest this class] Horse s race name must be supplied, along with proof that the horse started in an official trial or race on or after 1 September 2014 (Studbook record or other similar will suffice)
