Sensei Joane was ahead the whole fight 2-0, then the last 40 seconds Peru scores a 3 point kick to win. Sensei Joane Orbon s rankings will be coming out soon. If she is rated in the top 15 in the world the US Olympic Committee will Scholarship her funds to help her with competition cost for travel. Other than that we are having fundraisers for her.

7 Tibon s Goju Ryu Karate Organization What Makes Us Different! Tibon s Goju Ryu Fighting Arts Karate Organization has a staff of internationally certified black belts, and national class athletes with years of experience and training under their belts. We have dedicated ourselves in teaching traditional Goju Ryu under Goju Ryu Uchiage-Kai, member of Japan Karate Federation the world body for traditional karate in the world, member of the International Olympic Committee. Our dojos are registered with USA Karate, the NGB for traditional karate, and member of the US Olympic Committee. Sensei Gene Tibon 6 th Degree Black belt has been teaching Goju Ryu karate for 42 years. Our main dojo at 923 N. Yosemite St. has been in existence for 34 years, our satellite dojos like Hiers Goju Ryu at Twin Arbors Athletic Club for 22 years, Stockton GymStars Karate Program for 19 years, Modesto GymStars Karate Program 14 years, Victory Outreach Martial Arts Program 8 years, and Placerville Tibon s Family Dojo until Sensei Gino took a job promotion in Seattle, WA. We have dedicated our teaching to Life Skill Development Through our Karate teaching. We have 95 % of our black belts achieve a degree in college or at a major university around the country. We teach self-defense Goju Ryu Karate, which is the better of two fighting traditions of Okinawa and China. We continue to develop those athletes, who wish to compete at world level competition representing USA at the highest level of competition in the world. We currently have one female adult athlete, who is currently an Olympic hopeful for the 2020 International Olympic Summer Games in Tokyo, Japan. We have developed over 300 national champions, and placed 60 athletes on the USA Jr. and Sr. National Karate Team and USA Team Pool. Sensei Gene Tibon was featured in Masters Magazine, inducted into 12 Hall of Fames, as well as our work continues. Five of our Sr. Black Belt instructors were also inducted into Hall of Fames for their contribution through their martial arts accomplishments.
