2 OCTOBER 10-12, President of the Russian Federation The Government of the Russian Federation Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation Ulyanovsk Region The «Russia Country of Sports» Forum is held in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 863 of July 27, 2009 with a frequency of once every two years. In by the Order No. 238-RP of July 5, 2017 the Forum will be held in February in the Ulyanovsk Region under the patronage of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation and the Administration of the Ulyanovsk Region. PURPOSE OF THE FORUM TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS IN RUSSIA, TO DEVELOP INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES IN SPORTS, TO ENHANCE THE ROLE OF THE STATE IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND TO STRENGTHEN THE ROLE OF RUSSIA IN THE SPORTS MOVEMENT.
