COPY: Denmark FOR INFORMATION Chief of Liaison Office Europe The President of the Sport Committee for Aeronautical Pentathlon We have the honor to invite a delegation of your country to participate in the Regional Championship in Aeronautical Pentathlon in Norway. The Championship is to be held in in Trondheim, 19 th to 23 rd May Please find enclosed the championship points of contact, program, particular provisions and practical information, informal agreement form and final entry form. 3 Annex I PROGRAMME AND GENERAL INFORMATION 1. General Program of the Championship Friday, 19 th May DATE Saturday, 20 th May ACTIVITY Arrival of missions Training, technical meeting and Opening ceremony Pistol and Basketball Monday, 21 May Fencing and swimming Tuesday, 22 th May Obstacle race, orienteering and Closing ceremony Thursday, 23 rd May Departure of missions 2. Composition of the Mission Countries Please note the limitations of the number of participations: - 1 Chief of mission - 1 Coach/Teamcaptain - 9 Competitors (6 men, 3 women) = 11 Totals (max) Fencing referee The participating nations are welcome to participate with one fencing referee. 3. LOCATION AND TRANSPORT The Championship is hosted by the the Royal Norwegian Airforce Academy, situated in Trondheim. The cost of travel to and from the host country must be covered by the participating countries.

4 Possible points of arrival: by plane: Værnes lufthavn, by train: Stjørdal railwaystation. Missions are allowed to go by vehicle and arrive directly at the barracks at the Academy. The organizer will arrange transportation from the point of arrival in the host country to the place of stay and also the transportation during the competition. Organizer will not accept earlier arrivals or late departures. 4. CONDITIONS OF STAY During their stay in Norway the missions will be guests of the Norwegian Armed Forces from 19 th to 23 rd May Normal board and lodging is at the expense of the organizer. All mission members are accommodated in barracks. Extra members are requested to book hotel rooms. Expenses including telephone, laundry and drinks must be paid by the consumers. Medical support The organizer will take care of medical support (first aid service) at the competition site. A doctor and an ambulance will be available in order to provide first aid service. Further costs incurred for medical support are to be met by the participants The Organizing Committee is NOT responsible for: - Hospitalizations, - Surgical operations or other special treatments, - Repatriation in case of decease by illness or accident, - Other expenses on account of illness/accident such as compensations, loss of incomeetc. - Uniforms The participating missions are permitted and obliged to be in uniform during the stay I Trondheim on the scheduled occasions. The uniforms (summer uniform) are mandatory for the opening and closing ceremonies. 5. REGULATIONS OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP The competition will be governed by the following regulations: - International Military Sports Council: Aeronautical Pentathlon (Edition 2016). - General Regulations for the Nordic Military Championships (Edition 2016). - The regulations for the Nordic Military Championship in Aeronautical Pentathlon (Edition 2013). 6. SPORTS FACILITIES Events will be organized according to the rules. Exceptions will be informed before the championship. Participants may use their own pistols and ammunition in accordance with the regulations.
