PROGRAM Wednesday, 17 AUG Arrival of missions, training, Thursday, 18 AUG Preliminary meeting, Opening Ceremony (uniform), Obstacle Race - Life Saving Race Friday, 19 AUG Seamanship Race - Utility Swimming Race Social event Saturday, 20 AUG Amphibious Cross Country Race, Prize Giving- and Closing Ceremony (uniform) Closing Dinner Sunday, 21 AUG Departure of missions during the morning The pentathlon competition facilities are located in the central area of the base. The seamanship race will take place on double track. The utility swimming race will take place on triple track. The amphibious cross country race will take place on four tracks. Own rifles and ammunition may be used in accordance with the regulations. B. COMPOSITION OF MISSION Chief of Mission 1 Team captain 1 Coach male 1 Coach female 1 Total of male and female competitors 12 In total of max 16 participants C. ACCESS TO THE LOCATION OF THE COMPETITION The Nordic Military Championship in Naval Pentathlon will take place at the 1 st Marine regiment situated in Berga 30 km south of Stockholm. The missions are responsible for traveling expenses to and from Sweden. Point of entry: by air to Arlanda Airport, by train to Stockholm Central station and by boat to Stockholm harbor The organizer, 1 st Marine Regiment, is responsible for local transportation in Sweden. D. CONDITONS OF STAY During the stay in Sweden the missions will be guests of the Swedish Armed Forces from 17 to 21 of August The organizer, 1 st Marine Regiment, is responsible for lodging and transportation within this period. The mission members will be accommodated in barracks at the 1 st Marine Regiment. Extra requirements such as telephone, drinks, laundry etc., as well as cost of travel to and from Sweden are to be paid by the missions. 3/9

4 In accordance with the CISM Regulations only personnel on active duty in the armed forces may participate in the competition. Such personnel must be in possession of a valid military identity card. Military id is also required for access to the regiment and must be carried at all times. E. UNIFORMS Uniforms are mandatory. The participating missions are permitted and obliged to be in uniform (summer dress) during the stay on the scheduled occasions like the opening and closing ceremony.
