Invitation is valid to all member nations and national fishing federations recognized by the FIPSed. The official website of the championship is where you will be able to find all information regarding event venue, fishing ground, a detailed schedule and also some information regarding tourism in Kazakhstan. We will certainly put all our efforts to make FIPSed XV World Ice Fishing Championship an exciting one and we are looking forward to meet each and all of you in Kazakhstan! 2 EVENT VENUE XV World Ice Fishing Championship will take place in Karaganda region, Temirtau city. The official fishing ground for the WIFC will be lake Samarkandskoye. The surface area of Samarkandskoye is 82 sq. km and the average depth is about 12 meters. The deepest spot is from 3 till 10 meters. 4 FISH AND FISHING INFORMATION Samarkandskoe lake contains a large variety of fish species, the most common are: Bream (Abramis brama) Perch (Perca fluviatilis) Roach (Rutilus rutilus) Ruffe (Gymnocephalus cernuus) Chub (Leuciscus cephalus) Pike (Esox lucius) Zander (Sander lucioperca) Nalim (Lota lota)

5 TEAM COMPOSITION WIFC Official Team Composition maximum of 6 competitors (5 primary + 1 reserve) 2 Coaches 1 Team Manager Non Official Team Support Personnel, Media and Others The cost of one banquet for any additional person (exceeding 9 persons) is 55, two banquets (opening and closing ceremony) 110 accordingly.

6 Option 1 (official accommodation) Hotel Cosmonaut is official partner of WIFC 2018, in which opening, closing ceremonies and all captain meetings will be held. For members of the national delegations, accompanied persons, accommodation cost is Euro per person per day standard room, 100 Euro per person per day Queen room, 200 Euro per person per day Suite room. 10 Option 2 (optional accommodation) By choosing this option, the national team will have to book the accommodation and catering as well as all transportations on their own. Lunch in restaurant 10 Euro her person per day. A list of hotels and other accommodation possibilities can be found on the web-site, information will be provided later. Important information The and Federation of Sport Fishing of the RK has come to agreement with the national air company Air Astana with regard to special tariff for the flights from Moscow and the most convenient European city, to which there are regular flights of Air Astana company, for sportsmen wishing to take part in the XV Ice world championship year Air tickets may be ordered and paid for at any office of the air company. Or Russian airlines company Aeroflot Besides that with the assistance of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan the and Federation of Sport Fishing of the RK has come to agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with regard to simplification of the procedure for visa obtaining by the citizens of foreign states. In order to obtain a visa it is necessary to enclose a copy of passport with specification of place of work and address of each sportsman to the application for participation in the tournament. Reception with special buses at the airport of Karaganda city. 2. Transportation to the place of accommodation. 3. Opening and closing banquets. 4. Transportation to the place of the tournament. 5. Transportation to the airport on the day of departure. 6. Other organization charges The program of ceremonial opening and closing shall be additionally coordinated with the International Freshwater Sport Fishing Federation and artistic collectives upon arrival of the Technical Commission.
