2 Dear Mr. President On behalf of the Turkish Taekwondo Federation, I am proud to invite you and your athletes to participate in the Turkish Open Taekwondo Tournament, which will be held in Antalya, Turkey, February 2018 Turkish Open is granted as WT G1 as well. Protective Equipment & Uniform The participants shall wear the WT recognized Taekwondo Uniform. Daedo PSS will be used at this Tournament and will be provided by the OC. All athletes must bring their own Daedo sensor socks. Groin/Forearm/shin guards and Gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestants. Mouth piece is compulsory!(only white or transparent) Flexy glass head protector will be used for Cadet categories. 9. Applications To register and login to the service, please use this link: DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: AT LATEST 04th FEBRUARY :00 Istanbul time Entries after deadline will not be accepted. Entries will stop when we reach 2500 players IMPORTANT: If the athlete registered online does not take part in the competition for some reason, but he/she has not been removed from the list of participants before deadline (04 Feb 2018) his/her team officially must fully (%100) pay his/her entry fee for the participation 10. Referees Only International Referees will be accepted. An official invitation for the referees will be sent to all Federations. Only WT approved equipment will be allowed to use in this tournament (even dobok etc.) Groin/forearm/shi guards and gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestants. Mouth piece is compulsory! ( White or transparent ) All the players must bring their own full equipment except body protector. Only competitors and coaches have admittance to the field of play. Coaching is only allowed in sportswear. All coaches must be 18 years or older.

7 First Aid will be provided by the organization and is only to be used in case of an emergency. 12. Insurance The organisation and supervisor assume no responsibility for teams, any damages, violence, loses and injures during the stay in Turkey. All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical treatment in Turkey. If not, this will have to be paid cash. 13. Classification of Results Individual Awards Medals will be awarded to the top four athletes in the respective classifications and weight divisions of the pertinent championships: 1 st PLACE: GOLD MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 2 nd PLACE: SILVER MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 3 rd PLACE: BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 3 rd PLACE: BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 14.Head of Team Meeting & Drawing of Lots Session 15. Weigh-in FOR POOMSAE: The head of team meeting shall be conducted one (1) days prior to the start of the championships that is February , in the presence of OC the representatives of the participating nations. FOR KYOURGI: The head of team meeting and the drawing of lots session shall be conducted one (1) days prior to the start of the championships that is February , in the presence of OC the representatives of the participating nations. Weigh-in of the contestants shall be completed the day before their scheduled competition between 10:00-12:00 hrs. During the weigh-in, senior contestants shall wear under pants and female contestants shall wear underpants and brassieres. However, contestants may weigh-in in the nude if they want to do so. Cadet and junior athletes cannot be nude. Male contestants shall wear underpants and female contestants shall wear underpants and brassieres.

16. Indemnities The respective national taekwondo associations shall be responsible for ensuring that all officials and participants are covered with effective insurance coverage.

Accommodation: The Organizing Committee will acquire general insurance, at its own expenses, for all participants of the tournament, including but not limited to contestants and staffs, in the event

IMPORTANT: All teams participating in WTE Championships and G-ranking tournaments in Europe Territory shall mandatory - book their hotel rooms via Organizing Committee, to whom decides to stay any unofficial hotel, they have to pay 100 administration fee per person for all officials and athletes to OC.
