At least three (3) of them must be students (male and female). The number of the officials is restricted to two (2). The students must be born between January 1st 1993 and December 31st Entry Deadlines: General entry: February 6, 2018 Quantitative entry: May 6, 2018 Individual entry: July 6, 2018 Main venue for the Forum The plenary essions, Workshops and Group Discussions will be held in the Congress Hall of the iberian Federal University. iberian Federal University was established in It is one of the largest universities in Russia, consisting of 20 institutes with more than students. Lectures by world-class specialists are available to students. 4 Accommodation Delegations will be accommodated in comfortable residences of the iberian Federal University. The residences are in walking distance with main venues of the Forum where the majority of forum activities will take place and that it is located at about 35 minutes drive from Krasnoyarsk Airport. Transportation Most participants will arrive Russia either to Moscow heremetyevo international airport (all major international airlines and Aeroflot) or to Domodedovo international airport (wiss Airlines, AirMalta, British Airways, Emirates, El Al, China Eastern, ingapore Air-lines, Thai Airways and most of the Central Asian airlines, plus most domestic airlines,except Aeroflot). By its surface area, iberia is only comparable with Canada, which is the second largest country in the world. Krasnoyarsk as the host city Krasnoyarsk is the administrative center of Krasnoyarsk region, and one of the largest Russian cities, which combines age-old traditions and modern development. Modern Krasnoyarsk is a major industrial, business and scientific center of Russia. Krasnoyarsk is a sports town as well since 20% of its population is involved in sports in one way or another. Due to its four sports academies, it is also a cradle of great champions who compete in major national and international events. Krasnoyarsk is the largest sport center of Eastern iberia and the Far East. Presently over 150 kinds of sports are developed in the region, there are 100 accredited sports federations and 120 children and youth sports school of Olympic reserve. In total about 64 thousand people, who do sports in children and youth sports schools of the Olympic Reserve. Basic winter sports for Krasnoyarsk are biathlon, bobsleigh, alpine skiing, speed skating, snowboarding, freestyle, bandy and ice hockey. Krasnoyarsk is a well-known place for hosting major national and international competitions.

6 29 th Winter Universiade 2019 In 2019, from 2 nd to 12 th March, Russia for the first time in its history will host the Winter Universiade. For Krasnoyarsk a successful organization and delivery of the Universiade is a large-scale landmark sports event, an opportunity to develop modern sport infrastructure and to improve the city image. Embracing FIU s motto of Excellence in Mind and Body, the Winter Universiade incorporates educational and cultural aspects into 11 days of sports competitions, allowing university student-athletes worldwide to celebrate with the host city in a true spirit of friendship and sportsmanship. ports programme will consist of 11 types of sports: 8 compulsory sports (biathlon, alpine skiing, short-track speed skating, cross-country skiing, ice hockey, curling, figure skating, snowboarding), 2 optional sports (freestyle skiing, ski orienteering) and 1 demonstration sport (bandy). Most of venues will be renovated and some new will be built for the Universiade, including several ice rinks and a major center for snow sports. Athletes will be housed in a new Athletes Village, which is seldom the case for the Winter Universiade. The Organising Committee will have all the support of the Russian tudent ports Union (RU). iberian Federal University - Partner University Krasnoyarsk is not only one of the most sporting cities in Russia, but also one of the largest academic centers in iberia.
