3 General Rules and Regulations 1. Each club is eligible to enter one team in each event unless otherwise stated by the organizing committee. If there is space following the early-bird deadline, extra teams beyond what is stated may be allowed by the committee for an additional fee of $ All participants must be in good JFAO standing. Membership validity will be checked during registration (2016 sticker on card or new member). Clubs which owe any money or information to JFAO will not be allowed to participate until all invoices are paid and information submitted. As per the JFAO policy, any new members signing up on the day of the event will be charged an extra $ The Winter Games are alcohol free events, as stated in the JFAO policy. There will be a zero tolerance if alcohol is found ($100 fine for first offence). 4. Participants must arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled event, or otherwise risk having to forfeit. 5. The organizing committee has the final say in regards to all rules, scheduling, and winners. 6. All sporting events are included in the price of team admission, including curling. Individual registrants may join with a club team on Saturday. 7. Results of the games will be announced during the Saturday night dance. 8. BLACK SOLED SHOES ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THE GYM. 9. Bring outdoor gear for outside activities **All clubs should review the JFAO Policies online for additional general rules. Huron Junior Farmers and JFAO are not responsible for anyone disqualified due to lack of awareness of the Policies and fees will not be refunded.**
4 Games Curling 1. There will be a mixed (two men and two women) bonspiel. Each club may enter 2 teams. 2. The bonspiel will be a knock-out competition with a consolation round. 3. Games may be shortened depending on number of teams participating. 4. Present Junior Farmer card at registration. The Canadian Curling Association Rules will apply ( Mixed Basketball 1. An entry will consist of five players (2 females and 3 males or 3 females and 2 males) on the court at all times. 2. Each team will be scheduled two minute games. 3. Time will be stopped for fouls. 4. NO BLACK SOLED SHOES PERMITTED. Running shoes or gym shoes must be worn. 5. Present Junior Farmer card at registration. All other rules of the Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) will apply. Mixed Volleyball 1. A team will consist of 6 players with minimum 2 women on the court at all times. 2. Each team will be scheduled two minute (max) games. 3. All games go to 15 points or a win of 2 points after that. 4. NO BLACK SOLED SHOES PERMITTED. Running shoes or gym shoes must be worn. 5. Present Junior Farmer card at registration. All other rules of the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) will be followed.
5 Indoor Soccer 1. Teams will consist of 5 players and a goalie, with a minimum of 2 females. 2. Each team will be scheduled two minute (max) games. 3. There will be no physical contact. 4. NO BLACK SOLED SHOES PERMITTED. Running shoes or gym shoes must be worn. Floor Hockey (will be held outside in parking lot weather permitting) 1. Safety glasses will be provided for each player. 2. Each team will play for minutes. 3. Teams will consist of 5 players and a goalie, with a minimum of 2 females. 4. There will be no physical contact. 5. Outdoor shoes will be required if held outside Mystery Event 1. There will be two mystery events 2. One mystery event will be taking place throughout the day and can be completed during your break periods. 3. The second mystery event will take place once all other games are completed. A baseball glove and outdoor shoes are required. 4. Bring an open mind and enthusiasm!
6 Game Locations Games will be held at Clinton Public School 27 Percival St, Clinton, ON N0M 1L0 and Central Huron Secondary School 165 Princess St E. Clinton, On N0M 1L0 **Please meet at Central Huron Secondary School for registration Please arrive at 8:30 am for registration.

9 Saturday Evening Dance Dashwood Community Hall 158 Centre Street, Dashwood Dance tickets Will be available at the door of the dance for $10.00 There will be buses provided to and from the dance at designated times. Winners from day events will be announced at the dance! Remember to dress in your splashiest Tight n Bright. There will be prizes for the best outfits! So get creative! There will be a $2 charge to anyone wearing jeans or ball caps. Reminders: Please arrive by 8:30 am on Saturday February 4th for registration, with lots of energy and team spirit! Make sure to book your rooms and send in registration ASAP! Don't forget your JF card for the games and dance.
