2 2 Additional Comments: Additional Comments: Have more to do so it's worth going and staying longer, excluding the carnival. Too pricey, too hot when it's held, same old boring rides and that crew is rude. Same boring food. Peach Days has a more "home town" feel. Wish the fair was more like that. It's to hot need to make it month later It is too hot, not enough vendors or boutique shops, the location being in the dirt in Hurricane is not good either. Looking forward to a new director and seeing changes Make it in May so it s not so hot and we can go in the day time and not right before school starts. Or in sept with the Dixie round up! Definitely needs a rodeo attached! Too hot! Prices are to high. Other than it being really hot, the fair is amazing! I love the themes and my kids are excited for it every year. They still talk about the superhero year! The shows have been excellent the last few years as well. It's so hot the time of the fair, I don't enjoy it as much It's too hot to go in August!!! Why compare to smaller events that are not the same? 4 4 Additional Comments: Love the Derby! Food vendors too expensive! Too commercial. Need more cars for demolition part the other derbies in utah put on a better show for less money Poor location. Dusty not enough trees scaping. The derby is WAY to expensive to take a family to. The tickets are far to overpriced Thank here s s huge variety of events and shows and I m amazed at how much is brought in each year. The demolition derby price to watch is insane. For a family of 5 (for us) it's We have to tell our kids the derby or 2 rides. Insane. Carnival workers are impatient and rude! Wash Co fair needs some trademark items like they do in Iowa, etc. Deep fried green jello or something. Something that says Washington County. Emphasize something unique. Pecans or something. Haven't been back since my child was electrocuted on the big slide the carnival didnt hook up right. The ground wire was shorting out and nobody checked hourly saftey measures. My son thought he was being tazed and couldn't let go of the hand rail which was metal and sending the electricity through him. He stood there crying and wet his pants until his dad could see what was happening and that is when he yelled at the carny to shut it down. No one even offered help or our money back for the unlimited wrist bands we had just bought. The thing that I love about county fairs in general is the large 4H presence, livestock shows, vegetable contests, rodeos. Showcasing local farmers and ranchers. That is virtually non-existent in Washington County. It s become an open air circus, carnival and really little more. Didn't rate the carnival or demo derby as I don't go to those but know many who do, especially those with kids, and think it's the best part of the fair. I would like to see rodeo events in our county fair. With a reasonable entry fee for locals to enter. I would also recommend it be moved to May instead of August. The cost of the demolition derby it's too high for families. I d like to see pig wrestling at the fair Bring back the boxing matches! Higher prize money for the derby. It's too hot to attend. Change the date I have volunteered and worked with Wendy for over 10 years. She has done amazing things for the fair and dedicated an unbelievable amount of time to bettering the fair. It was not easy moving it from Hurricand but she has continued to improve it yearly. She will be a very hard person to replace. I hope your decision to let her go was worth it. Until you walk a mile in someone's shoes you never know their value.

Food court area More misters and a/c areas Different food vendors, no cost parking if we are coming to spend money on other things, dance of some kind Better prices so every one can come and enjoy More shaded areas for people while waiting around for rides and to just able to step out of the sun for a bit. So that we can stay longer Price of food and carnival rides. It's a little pricey especially when you have 4 kids In sept along with the Dixie round up or in May. It s just too hot in August Different time of year If anything it is extremely hot in August. If possible, it would be nice to move to September or October once it starts to get a little cooler. New carnival. Move the date. Too hot in August. More integration in the St George area. Maybe some events or contests closer to St George. The fairgrounds are far enough away that I'm probably only going to make one trip out there, bit of some things were in St George I would probably attend more of them A better carnival with more modern rides and shorter lines. If you keep in August, put gravel down so the dust does not blow. Move the dates of the fair where it is not just as school starts. More activities to involve the community, activities for adults. better carnival, less expensive parking. A month that is not so hot and a better area to have the fair. It's dirty and hot where it is held now Prices are too high Some more educational BUT FUN aspects, especially for kids? (Didn't see a spot to write this, but whose ridiculous idea was it to consider a different date? Don't they know WHY we have fairs which is partly to show off local produce, etc., and things that can then go up to SLC for State fair. A second roadway in & out of the fairgrounds... Look to the south. More tickets to/demo derby events More affordable
