3 KAMLOOPS SALE TUESDAY APRIL 1ST Again this week Kamloops saw another 700 head of cattle hit the sale ring. Quality today was out of this world with group after group of top quality cattle through the ring. Harry & Marilyn Clemitson saw their good heavy butcher cows race to with 2590 lb. butcher bulls to The Squaw Valley Ranch from Lumby had 1518 lb. butcher cows power to Haley Rutherford from Merritt had 574 lb. Black Angus s/c trade to head of her 583 lb. h/c s notched with her 515 lb. h/c s topping Jack Livingstone from Little Fort saw their top end of 951 lb. replacement heifers race to Their 871 lb. heifers marked Peter & Sharon of Philip Ranch showcased their 704 lb. Red heifers at Ingram Creek Farm had 772 lb. Black Maine X heifers hit and Mel & Vicki Hough s replacement heifers hit and weighed 762 lbs. Alex & Diane Fraser s 740 lb. Black fancy heifers hit , their 919 lb. heifers reached Silver Hills Ranch of Lumby had a beautiful group of 820 lb. Black heifers hit Justin Prebashewski s 778 lb. Black steers hit , the 600 lb. Black steers topped Joe and Terri Baudin s 739 lb. Red steer s hit The Semlin Ranch 770 lb. Holstein cross 770 lb. steers marked , with the 673 lb. steers to Some top quality breeding bulls were on offer today as we saw Hereford Black Angus and Red Angus bulls met keen buyer interest. Steve Langenegger set the pace for the day with a 2 year old Red Angus and a powerful yearling Red Angus Bull both reaching Brian Foley Jr. and the Deanfield Ranch both selected a top Hereford yearling bull from Keith & Carrie Bostock. Neil Turner showcased a beautiful pen of 815 lb. replacement quality Hereford heifers, they traded to Wendell Stoltzfus also blew the doors off with 545 lb. Black Angus s/c topping , his 432 lb. h/c s notched Bill & Janice Colvin had 781 lb. steers from Merritt trade to , their 584 lb. heifers saw Lloyd Gavelin had 545 lb. s/c from Merritt top SPRING IS COMING!
