2 Here we come... Westworld of Scottsdale WestWorld s historic success is grounded in its worldrenowned equestrian center. Over the past few years, more than 90 equestrian events, utilizing over 247 use days have taken place with some 220,000+ attendees. The Tony Nelssen Equestrian Center (TNEC) is a climate controlled event space featuring a 120,000 sq. ft. Equidome with 3,400 permanent seats surrounding a sunken arena. Located in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona - WestWorld can host just about anything you can dream Hello, Scottsdale! Located in the beautiful Sonoran Desert, Scottsdale, Arizona is bordered by Phoenix to the west and the McDowell Mountains on the east. Scottsdale is annually rated among the nation s most desirable communities to live in, visit and do business in. Scottsdale is a community where the heart of the old west still beats strong. The city is home to five-diamond hotels and shopping, world-class art and a vast array of dining and entertainment options. The Mane Event The Mane Event, the nation s largest horse expo management company, has three locations: Red Deer, AB; Chilliwack, BC; Scottsdale, AZ! We bring in top notch clinicians from all over the world to spread their knowledge to our attendees, and there is shopping for everything a horse lover could want!

3 Put on your Boots.. So strap on your boots and book your tour bus because The Mane Event Scottsdale 2018 is going to be our largest and loudest yet! With over 100 hours of equine education in the form of clinics, demos, presentations and lectures this is the place for every horse owner and rider. The 125,000 sq. ft. of indoor, air-conditioned exhibit floor with only equine-related products and country/western living décor products are allowed in the trade show. The Mane Event is a multi-disciplined expo and will attract western and english riders with it s diverse line-up of clinicians, which includes Olympic Champions, World Champions and highly respected trainers and clinicians. Plus sessions on everything from Reining; Jumping; Barrel Racing; Dressage; Natural Horsemanship; Cowboy Dressage; Problem Solving; Saddle Fitting; Equine Nutrition; along with an education based colt starting competition and more. Local breed groups, riding clubs, educational groups and nonprofit equine associations are invited to participate. There are approximately 177,000 horses owned by citizens in Arizona. They provide a greater economic impact than Arizona s two largest state exports, of cotton $108 million; processors, controllers, and electronic integrated circuits $898 million and just slightly less than Arizona s leading export, civilian aircraft engines and parts, $1.9 billion. Arizona s $1.6 billion annual economic impact horse industry expenditures are larger than the combined revenue of the Super Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Phoenix International Raceway, and the Phoenix Open. 80% of horse owners in Arizona are trail riders. Nationally, the equine industry reports of the total $102 billion annually generated, the recreational segment is $32 billion annually.

4 Clinicians.. The Mane Event prides itself on bringing and hosting highly talented clinicians in a large variety of disciplines. All Clinics and presentations are included in the Day or Weekend Passes, there is no extra cost to audit these. The Trainers Challenge will feature: Trevor Carter - Texas Mark Lyons - Texas TBA - Our lecture area provides a variety of speakers and presentations on a wide variety of equine topics including Saddle Fitting, Supplements, Nutrition, Health, Travel and much more. This is where you can learn about the new products and services hitting the equine market.

5 Trainers Challenge How is our competition different? The Trainers Challenge is an unique opportunity to see 3 trainers put their skills to work to show the public their abilities and methods of training an unbroke horse. This is NOT the way these trainers would normally start a colt, what they do in the 3 days of the Challenge they might take days or more to get the horse really working well at all of the different skills they are training into the colts. This Challenge is meant to be a venue to educate the public that there are more than one or two ways that you can start a colt and succeed at getting a quiet broke horse. The format will have 3 Trainers, 3 Horses and 3 Judges. Each horse/trainer combination is featured separately in each session. Keep in mind that these horses will have just started their training to become that broke horse. The judging at this challenge is based 10% on the horse, 60% on the trainer s ability to train the horse and 30% on the trainer s ability to educate the attendees. So the trainer that gets his/her horse to do the most or does a better presentation at the finals won t necessarily win. The winner of the challenge will be the trainer that can achieve the highest success with both the horse and the spectators through out all the sessions Horses supplied by: K4 Ranch K4 Ranch now runs 20 broodmares with the bloodlines of Driftwood Ike, Tuffy Ike, Orphan Drift, Drifts Vaquero, Ike s Last, Harlan, Oklahoma Star, Colonel Freckles, Cee Booger Red, First Down Dash, and Chick Bedeuno. Today Rick and Sarah Kieckhefer manage the K4 horse program. Rick is a National Finals Rodeo qualifier in calf roping, and Sarah is a 12-time Turquoise Circuit qualifier in barrel racing. K4 horses have been some of the most successful arena performance horses in the country, and today the ranch continues to strive to produce top all around ranch horses, rope horses, and barrel horses.

There is no additional charge for corners. Tables and chairs are not supplied with your booth rental. We encourage companies desiring island arrangements to have their layouts reviewed by The Mane Event for compliance with show rules and regulations. Booths are not carpeted. Pro Em. Is our show decorator for the show and can help you with any furniture rental you may require. The show package will be available the first week of January Wristbands Wristbands are required to gain access to the Trade Show Building. Each booth comes with a specified number of wristbands for your staff. Extras can be purchased when you check-in at the show. Exhibitor Kit The Exhibitor Kit will be available on-line by the first week of January It contains information regarding upcoming deadlines, move-in or move-out dates and times, and other important show information and instructions. Furniture and floor covering The Mane Event will provide pipe and drape. If you require carpet or furniture in your booth please contact Pro Em for prices. Booth cleaning The Mane Event will provide cleaning for the aisle spaces only. Booth cleaning is not included in the rental fee.
