In 2008, more than $3 Million dollars was raised for the cause. 4 C4 Miles: Making Strides for Mental Health Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4) presents this chip timed 4 mile run and 2 mile family walk to raise funds as well as awareness of mental illness, which affects about one in five Americans every year. Date: Sunday, May 3, 2009 Location: Montrose Harbor Demographics: A12 65 Participants: 600 Components: 4 mile chip timed run and 2 mile Family Walk Benefits Community Counseling Centers of Chicago Climate Cycle This inaugural cycling event will bring out kids and adults alike with the mission of raising awareness and funds to prevent global warming and the overall greening of our environment.
