The Bad Duerkheim Wine Fest includes rides, amusements and a chance to sample wine from the region. Warrior Duathlon Show off your grit and endurance during the Warrior Duathlon on Sept. 15 starting at 10 a.m. at the Sports, Fitness and Outdoor Recreation Center. Athletes will compete in a 20-mile bike ride sandwiched between two five-mile runs. Registration deadline is Sept. 14 at the fitness center. Oktoberfest Express Join the party at the world s largest and most famous beer festival the Munich Oktoberfest on Sept. 29 with Outdoor Recreation. Cost is $89 for adults; $39 for ages 15 and under.
