2 2 It is a pleasure and honor for us to invite you to the 2014 IPC World Cup Cross Country Final on 16th to 19th January 2014 in Oberstdorf/Germany. The following invitation includes the provisional program as well as all the important information regarding the event. 3 3 Your way to Oberstdorf: Entries: Accomodation till 25th of November 2013 Entry by number till 15th of December 2013 Final Entry till 09th of January 2014 through the IPC online form Please use the forms from Fees: Event fee for athletes 250 EUR Event fee for teammembers 175 EUR The event fee includes: entry fee, hospitality during the competitions, event organizing costs and welcome evening Accomodation: We have made reservations of hotel and guesthouse rooms in and around Oberstdorf in different categories and prizes. Please take notice that there are limited numbers of rooms adapted for wheelchairs. Room-reservations are necessary till 25th of November Room reservations, which are cancelled after end of entry, must be paid 100% by the respective NPC. You will find the reservation form at our official website Please take care that you send all forms on time to Payment: After receiving your entry you will get an invoice for your team. 4 4 Rules: IPC Nordic Skiing competition rules will apply. Anti-Doping: Anti-Doping activities will be carried according to the IPC Anti-Doping Code which can be found at Classification International classification will be offered at this event. Only IPC licensed athletes will be eligible for IPC classification. All athletes must be internationally classified to take part in the IPC World Cup. Classification for all classes will take place in the Erdinger Arena (Am Faltenbach 27, Oberstdorf). Further information for the classification will be given to all NPCs from IPC. Visas: For those who need visa for entering Germany, please do not forget to apply it in advance. If you need an official invitation letter, please contact us. We will be glad to assist you. Transportation: The teams are responsible for their own transport. Airport transfer on request and payment is available. Oberstdorf is located in the south of Germany about 220 km from Munich Airport. Facilities: The Team Captains Meetings will take place in the Erdinger Arena (Am Faltenbach 27, Oberstdorf). The wax cabins are located next to the cross country stadium Ried. The price for one wax cabine (3,5x3,5m / ~12 m²) including electric power and heating for the period is 300 EUR. Booking in advance is necessary. There is a team hospitality tent in the cross country stadium. Insurance Each NPC must ensure that all members of its delegation are appropriately insured, including coverage for travel, liability and accidents. All delegation members must have appropriate accident and health insurance in order to race in international ski competitions. The organizer takes neither responsibility in case of accidents and the consequences, nor for third party risks.
