The collective nationwide network of 45 County Sports Partnerships (CSPs) A charity has been established to support, represent and lead the CSP Network comprising of a small core team and board who are we? 4 04 message from chair I am once again delighted to present our annual review that shows growth, in terms of investment and programmes, a record level of investment into the network of 49 million, and a forward commitment to Collectively CSPs have delivered some remarkable results over the year as you will read about in this report, organisations CSPs have to demonstrate value for money and show that they can drive down operating Finally, as ever I want to acknowledge and thank Lee Mason and Nicki Couzens for their ongoing commitment to the Network, and in addition welcome Adrian Ledbury and Graeme Sinnott to the core I also want to recognise our project leads and trustees for their support and in particular welcome remains dynamic and progressive and we will undertake a governance review later this year to ensure we Richard Saunders Chairman

I am pleased to report on another successful year for the Network, characterised by a deepening of our core The CSPs successfully completed the Sport Makers programme, achieving the challenging targets of recruiting, training and deploying over 60,000 local volunteers to make sport happen for their friends, to engage young people in sports of their choice, School Games festivals to promote school sport, and Our contribution in education was further enhanced with the CSPs playing a critical role in supporting primary schools to maximise the impact of their Premium funding for PE & School sport, whilst our work with business was improved with the introduction of our new Workplace Challenge programme, and our role in wider physical activity and health was strengthened through close working with Public Heath England and Looking ahead, we are committed to building on these strong foundations with our Mission Good to tools to continually improve quality standards, facilitate collaboration, enhance stakeholder will enable us to continue to achieve our collective mission to improve people s lives by Lee Mason Chief Executive

7 07 supporting the primary pe & sports premium Following the announcement of ring fenced funding to coordinate the local support to schools to help maximize the impact of this investment. We have consistently worked together to develop clear actions, which deliver our aims and those of Derbyshire Sport. Key to success has been the ability of Derbyshire Sport to facilitate links and engagement with partners who can deliver our products and programmes. Derbyshire Sport has proven it can do this across a wide spectrum from schools to leisure operators and community groups. I look forward to the continued success of this relationship and for participation numbers to continue to increase in the county.
