1 TURTLE BAY UPDATED COLOUR PALETTE Donna Esplen- Design April 2015 Edgy Side of the Colour Palette Elegant Side of the Colour Palette Both Palettes mixed here together to illustrate how well this combination of colours work with each other. The Charcoal, graphite and silver are grounding colours, and create great contrast to the softer more delicate shades. Depending on the combination, a bolder edgier look can be achieved, as well as a more serene feel, as illustrated in the following design applications. Transparent layers also give a depth that enriches the design. When applied to text (colour on colour) using a screen tint softens the text, so not to have just stark black or white, which becomes busy. The copper can be either elegant, or when used with the Fushia, become edgier. Same can be said with many of the other colour combinations. They play and enhance each other, and all have their purpose. This colour palette was created to enhance and support imagry, not compete with it. Also, by warming up the colour palette, the materials will become more approachable. The long rectange at the bottom of this page is a semi transparent layer (58%) of the original dark green, which is now eliminated from the colour palette, but is used in this form for the menu overlay over the images on all the website pages.

The real test of a good hotel is how do they help with a problem... here s our experience. First I ll men on that there are no stuffy concierge tables here... just a crew of local young men arranging adventure trips. So, when we found a flat re threatened our ability to get to our Shark Dive adventure, I called Alamo while my husband retreated to see the hotel s adventure boys (Koa was our guy). A quick call to Hotel Security and the most gracious fellow arrived (I wish I got his name!) in a golf cart with an air compressor and re hole plugs. Meanwhile Alamo es mated a 90 minute response me (we would miss our shark dive). But the fellow from Hotel Security had us quickly back on the road with me to spare. Now that s service..
