The event will take place in the Alta West Commerce Pavilion. There will be local vendors selling vintage goods, art, jewelry, housewares and packaged food. There will also be live music, food and alcoholic beverages will be available Setup will begin at 4:00 p.m. and teardown will be immediately after the event. The event will require no street closures. The projected attendance is 150. In addition to electronics, vendors will sell computers, peripherals, software, ham radios, personal electronics, accessories, office equipment appliances furniture, general merchandise, jewelry, accessories, etc. Food and beverages will also be sold. Setup for the event will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, and teardown will be at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, This event will require no street closures. The projected maximum attendance is 300. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 14 Brim Osborne Wedding July 01, :00am 11:00am Saturday 3333 Turtle Creek This event is a wedding reception at Arlington Hall. A 60 x60 tent will be erected on the front porch for attendees. Food and alcoholic beverages will be served. Setup will begin June 27 at 9:00 am and teardown will be July 3, 2017.The event will require no street closures. The projected attendance is 400. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 14 Expo Park Art + Wine Walk Impact House Grand Opening July 01, :00pm 6:00pm Saturday 827 Exposition Ave This new event is a vendor art show. There will be two food trucks, vendors, live music, giveaways, and of course wine. Alcohol will be available indoors only. Impact House will be teaming up with local Chambers of Commerce and Local City Officials to perform the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. There will be a company tour, demos, and activities going on inside the space. Setup will begin at 7:00 a.m. and teardown will begin following the event. 2 Festival San Juan Diego 7 July 02-30, :00pm 6:00pm Sundays Royal Haven Ln This monthly event is the continuation of a fundraising effort for the San Juan Diego Catholic Church. The funds are being raised to build a parochial house. The event will involve selling food such as gorditas, nachos, and tacos each Sunday in the patio of the Church for members of the church and the community. There will be six 8 x8 tents erected. Food and beverages will be sold. The event will require no street closures. The projected total attendance each Sunday is 300. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 6 TWM Red, White, and Boom July 03, :00pm 11:00pm 1001 Continental Ave This annual event is the second July Fourth celebration hosted by the Trinity Watershed Management. Sites will include the Ron Kirk Bridge, Gateway, and Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. The event will feature food trucks, vendors, a DJ for entertainment, activities by CBS Radio, face-painting, clowns, balloon artists, mini train rides, a Zumba class, and a firework show at the end of the day. The event will require closing the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge from 12:00 p.m. on July 3, 2017 until 2:00 a.m. on July 4, Streets impacted by traffic may include Woodall Rodgers Freeway, I35 Freeway, Riverfront, Beckley, Sylvan, and connector streets. Food, merchandise, and alcoholic beverages will be sold. Fifteen tents (ten 10 x10 ) and five 20 x20 ) and one portable stage (less than 4 high) will be erected for the event. Setup for the event will begin at 8:00 a.m. on July 2, Teardown will be on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 2:00 a.m. Some setup will take place on the Continental Avenue Bridge, West Dallas Gateway starting at 12:00pm on Sunday, July 3, The projected total attendance is 8,000. EMS: 4 MEDICS & 2 RESCUES DISTRICT 2 Dallas Athletic Club 4 th of July Celebration July 04, :10pm 10:00pm Tuesday 4111 Dallas Athletic Club Dr This is an annual firework display honoring Independence Day at the Dallas Athletic Club. There will be activities for members and their guest (balloon artist, face painting, swimming). The event will require closing the blocks of Fairlakes Dr. during the event (open to residents only). The projected attendance is 1,100. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 9 Prestonwood HOA July 4 th Parade July 04, :00am 12:00pm Tuesday Golden Creek Rd This annual event is neighborhood July 4 th celebration. The event will include children s activities and a bicycle parade led by the Fire Dept. The parade at 10:00 a.m. will start at Sandydale Dr. & Golden Creek Rd, procced west on Sandydale Dr., right on Ranchita Dr., right on Misty Trail, right on Golden Creek Rd. back to Sandydale Dr. Refreshments will be provided. Setup will begin at 8:00 a.m. and teardown will be immediately after the event. The projected attendance is 100. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 12 Little Forest Hills Neighborhood 4 th of July Parade & Celebration July 04, :00am 11:30am Tuesday 1500 San Saba This event is an annual Independence Day parade sponsored by the Little Forest Hills Neighborhood Association. The parade line up will be at the Promise of Peace Community Garden at 1435 San Saba, then it will cut through the parking lot of the White Rock United Methodist Church at 1450 Oldgate Lane. It will make a right on Diceman, left on Tavaros, left on San Leandro, and left on San Saba to the Casa Linda Park Pavilion, 1500 San Saba, where it will finish and disperse. Set up will be on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. and tear down will be Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. The projected attendance is 175. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 9 2

Party on the Patio July 04, :00pm 10:30pm Tuesday 2118 Abrams Rd This annual event is a firework viewing party to watch the fireworks at the Lakewood Country Club sponsored by Whole Foods Market. The event will take place in the parking lot; there will be dj music, games for kids, face painter, photo booth, food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available. Setup will begin at 2:00 p.m., July 4 and teardown will be immediately after the event. The event will require no street closures, but Gaston Ave. will be affected after the event. The projected attendance is 1,000. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 14 Sparkman Club Estates 4 th of July Parade July 04, :30am 12:00pm Tuesday 3366 Duchess Trail This annual parade honoring Independence Day starts at 3366 Duchess Trail. The main parade at 11:00 a.m. proceeds south on Marquis Lane, east on Princess Lane, south on Countess Drive, west on Camelot, north on Royal Club Lane and east on Duchess Trail to the clubhouse. A kid s bike parade will start at 10:30 a.m. and proceed east on Duchess Trail, south on Marquis, west on Princess, and turn back north (Alley) into the Sparkman Club parking lot. The projected attendance for both parades is 300. Lakewood 4 th of July Parade July 04, :00am 12:00pm Tuesday 7100 Tokalon This annual event is an Independence Day parade that will start at Lakewood Blvd. and Cambria Blvd. The parade at 10:30 a.m. will proceed east on Lakewood Boulevard, north on Pearson Drive, east on Lakeshore Drive, east on Lakewood to Winstead, south on Winstead to Tokalon Drive and disperse at Tokalon Park. There will be activities in the park after the parade until 12:00 pm. Alcoholic beverages will be served. The projected attendance is 1,500. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 9 Estates West HOA July 4 th Parade July 04, :00am 12:00pm Tuesday 7800 Arapaho This annual event is a parade honoring Independence Day. It is sponsored by the Estates West Homeowners Association. It will stage at Spring Creek & Arapaho. The parade line up will begin at 9:00 a.m. and parade kick off is at 10:00 a.m.; it will proceed north on Spring Creek, west on LaCabeza, south on Salado, and finish at James Bowie Elementary School 7600 La Manga Dr. A community picnic will be held after the parade. 4 Melshire Estates HOA 4 th of July Parade & Picnic July 04, :30am 12:45pm Tuesday Jamestown Rd This event is an Independence Day parade sponsored by the Melshire Estates Homeowners Association. It will start at Quincy Lane and Melshire Lane, proceeds east on Melshire to Jamestown Road, then north to the Jamestown Park where it will finish and disperse at Jamestown Park for a picnic. The projected attendance is 250. Lake Highlands 4 th of July Parade July 04, :00am 10:00am Tuesday 9641 Church Rd This annual parade honoring Independence Day starts at a new location of Ravensway and Church road at 9:00 a.m. There will be a festival at the Lake Highlands Recreation Center after the parade that will include carnival activities, face-painting, etc. Food and beverages will be served. The parade starts at Church and Ravensway and proceeds west on Church to Church and White Rock Trail into the Lake Highlands Park, where it finishes. It will require closing Church Rd. from Audelia to White Rock Trail from 8am until 12pm. The projected attendance is 2,500. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 10 Bluffview 4 th of July Parade July 04, :45am 10:30am Tuesday 4811 Bluffview This annual parade honoring Independence Day starts 9:45 a.m. at 4800 Bluffview. The parade proceeds south on Bluffview, right on Catawba, right on Wildwood, and left on Bluffview back to the finish and disperse. It will require no street closures. The projected attendance is 180. Elderwood 4 th of July Parade July 04, :00am 12:00pm Tuesday 5876 Elderwood Dr. This annual event is an Independence Day parade hosted by the Elderwood Drive Neighborhood. The parade will start at 5876 Drive, go west on Elderwood, south on Quincy Lane, east on Royalcrest Drive, north on Jamestown, west on Elderwood and ends at 5876 Elderwood. The projected attendance is 100. Bent Tree West HOA July 4 th Parade July 04, :00am 12:00pm Tuesday 4200 Bretton Bay Circle This event is an annual Independence Day Parade sponsored by the Bent Tree West Homeowners Association. It will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the culde-sac of Bretton Bay Circle. It proceeds east on Bretton Bay to Briargrove, stays on Bretton Bay and crosses Briargrove, continues north on Bretton Bay, crosses Shadow Glen, stay on Bretton Bay and curves west, when Bretton Bay dead ends, turn left and proceeds until it dead ends in Creekmeadow, turns left on Creekmeadow, and heads west toward Voss road, before Reaching Voss, the parade participants cross the vacant portion of the Bent Tree West Swim Club, where it will end and disperse. The projected total attendance is 300. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 12 4
5 Preston Hollow North HOA July 4 th Parade July 04, :00am 11:30am Tuesday 6400 Stitcher Ave The Preston Hollow North Homeowner s Association sponsors this annual parade honoring Independence Day. The parade at 9:00 a.m. starts at 6400 Stichter, Preston Hollow Elementary School Parking lot. It proceeds west on Stichter Ave., right on Tibbs St., right on Mimosa, right on Thackeray St., right on Stichter Ave. back to the Preston Hollow Elementary School and disperse. There will be a festival on school grounds consisting of a balloon artist, face painter, caricature artist, petting zoo, trackless train and DJ. It will require no street closures. Setup beings at 8:30 a.m. and teardown will be after the event. The projected attendance is 175. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 11 Carnival at Valley View Center July 7 16, :00pm 11:00pm Sunday & Saturday Preston Rd :00pm 11:00pm Monday Thursday 6:00pm 12:00am Friday This is a temporary carnival that will be held on the parking lot at Valley View Mall, Preston Road. The carnival will include rides and games. Setup for the carnival will begin on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 8:00 a.m., and teardown will be on July 31, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. Food and beverages will be sold. The event will require no street closures. The projected attendance is 500. EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 11 Officer Down Foundation Memorial Walk & Run July 07, :00pm 10:00pm Friday 1500 Marilla This new event is a memorial run/walk. The run/walk will start at City Hall 1500 Marilla, proceed west on Marilla, west on Young (against traffic), left on the Houston Viaduct, to the turnaround at Addison & Marsalis St., proceed on the Houston Viaduct, right on Young, right on Marilla back to City Hall Plaza. The 3mile will start the same but takes the cut over the Jefferson Bridge to Houston Bridge and returns the same. The 1 mile starts the same but U-turns at Market and returns the same. Setup will begin at 5:00 p.m. and teardown will be immediately after the event. The projected attendance is 1,000. POLICE SECTOR: CENTRAL PERMIT PENDING EMS: 1 RESCUE & 2 MEDICS DISTRICT 2 Run for The Blue July 08, :00am 10:00am Saturday 3100 Gulden Ln This event is a 5K and 1Mile run/walk to benefit injured police officers and their families. The 5K and 1 Mile will start at 8:00 a.m. on Gulden Lane between Singleton Boulevard and Canada Drive. The 1 Mile will proceed north on Gulden Lane, turn left northwest on Canada Drive northwest in the northwest bound traffic lanes for 0.5 miles, U-turn left southeast into the southeast bound traffic lanes, and return to the start on Gulden Lane. The 5K will proceed north on Gulden Lane, turn left northwest on Canada Drive northwest in the northwest bound traffic lanes, turn left south then right west on Morris Street, turn right north on Sylvan Ave in the rightmost northbound lanes crossing the Sylvan Bridge (leaving the leftmost inner lane open for vehicle traffic northbound), U-turn left south on Sylvan in the same dedicated northbound lanes north of Irving Boulevard, turn left east then north on Morris Street, turn right southeast on Canada Drive in the northwest bound traffic lanes, and return to finish at the start on Gulden Lane. Food and non- alcoholic beverages will be available. Ten 10 x10 tents will be erected; setup will begin at 3:00 a.m., and teardown will be following the event. The projected attendance is 2,000. 6 Too Hot to Handle 15k & 5k July 09, :30am 11:00am Sunday 400 N. Buckner Norbuck This annual event is a 15K and 5K run around White Rock Lake. At 7:25 a.m. wheelchair participants will start. At 7:30 a.m. the 15K starts at Norbuck Park at 200 N. Norbuck Park. It proceeds south on E. Lawther to Garland Road (on the trail), u-turns onto E. Lawther, goes northbound to Winfrey Point, (left across parking lot south on Winfrey Point), right onto E. Lawther (bike path), north on E. Lawther, right on Norbuck Park entrance into Norbuck Park, finishes, and disperses. At 7:30 a.m. the 5K will exit Norbuck Park and go under Buckner, north on E Lawther and continue until reaching the trail entrance, enter Trail on left (W) and continue on under Northwest Hwy, Turn left (W) on the trail running parallel with Northwest Hwy, turn left (S) on White Rock Creek Trail and go under Northwest Hwy and continue on the trail, north on White Rook Creek Trail, left on W. Lawther, left on White Rock Creek Trail (S) under E. Mockingbird past dog park until you reach White Rock Lake Trail, turn left and then another immediate left (N) onto White Rock Lake Trail, upon return the dog park will be to your left and then you will continue (E) over the pedestrian bridge by kayak rentals. After crossing bridge exit White Rock Lake Trail left (N) onto E. Lawther Dr. and continue until reaching Buckner underpass, turn right (E) under Buckner bridge and continue into Norbuck Parking Lot. Ten to seventeen tents ranging in size of 10 x10 up to 10 x20 will be erected. A 35 x30 x13 stage will also be erected inside Norbuck Park. Alcoholic beverages will be served inside a Beer Garden. Setup will begin at 10:00a.m.am, July 8 and teardown will be July 9, The projected number of participants is 2,300. EMS: 2 SUPERVISORS, 8 MEDICS AND 4 RESCUES DISTRICT 9 The Great Benjamin Circus July 13 24, :30pm 9:30pm Sunday Friday 1050 S. Beltline Rd. Dallas, TX :30am 7:30pm Saturday This new event is a family oriented circus under the big top tent with acrobats, aerialist, clowns and daredevils. There will also be pony rides and moon bounce before the performance. It will require erecting two tents a 100 x80 and a 30x40. Setup will begin July 9:00 a.m. and teardown will be July 25, It will not require any street closures. The projected attendance is 150. POLICE SECTOR: SOUTHEAST PERMIT PENDING EMS: NONE REQUIRED DISTRICT 8 Bastille on Bishop July 14, :00pm 11:00pm Friday 400 N Bishop Ave This annual event is a French-themed, street fair where attendees can shop, stroll, enjoy roving street musicians and food stands. There will be live music, food, alcoholic beverages, and merchandise will be sold. Forty 10 x10 tents and a 20 x12 x22 stage will be erected for the event. The event will be held on the 300, 400 and 500 block of N. Bishop Street, and the commercial sections of the 300 block of W. 7 th St. and the 400 block of W. 8 th St. The event will require closing N. Bishop Street between Davis Street and Melba, 7 th and 8 th Street between Adams and Madison. The festival will not go in front of any residential homes. It stops at the commercial buildings-- legal address of the east side is 408 N Bishop wraps around to 8th (where Boulevardier is), and the legal address on the west side is 408 W 8th Street. Barricades will be placed at the intersections to keep people from driving on 8 th toward Bishop to avoid not being able to turn around to exit the area. The projected attendance is 1,000. Riverfront Blvd This new event is an after party for the National Fantasy Football Convention. The party will take place at the Texas Ale Project s brewery at 1001 N. Riverfront Blvd. There will be live music, sales of food, beverages and merchandise. It will require erecting an 8 x10 x48 stage. It will not require any street closures.
