3 Introduction Ro-ràdh Together with our colleagues we are encouraging visitors into the Scottish countryside, with natural stunning beauty and biodiversity, promoting ways in which we can all enjoy our beautiful wildlife, landscapes, and heritage. This programme in 2016 gives you details of hundreds of events such as guided walks, archaeology trails, story-telling, wildlife talks and family events for all interests and levels of fitness. Our 2016 events booklet includes more ways to get out into the Highlands of Scotland as this year we have teamed up with listing events from RSPB Forsinard, RSPB Insh Marshes, and RSPB Abernethy Forest, along with National Trust for Scotland Kintail. This makes the 2016 events booklet a great place to find a diverse range of events for the whole family. If you want a particular event and cannot find it here, ranger@highland.gov.uk and we may be able to create and develop something specific for your needs.
