There is one steep section and about 2 stiles. The route SO comprises field paths, farm tracks, quiet lanes, a section of the South Staffordshire Railway walk and concludes with a canalside walk. The Old Station car park is off Bratch Lane, Wombourne. This will be about a 2.5 hour walk including a short break about half way round. No Pub stop. Start times: 26/18m 08-10h, 12/9m 10-12h, 6m 11-12h. These are not guided walks, but very detailed instructions are provided, maps not essential. Drinks and biscuits provided at checkpoints. Entry on day possible. Highly recommended. There will be a long lunch break so that meals can be taken at any cafe or pub. Or bring sandwiches and take a look at Kinver High Street. This is The LR128/Exp244 SK Chartley Walk as published by the Stowe by Chartley Parish Council. It is described as having some stiles on the route, the open fields may well be muddy. The meeting place is at the Village Hall, parking available if hall is not in use. There is a pub in the village to which walkers may adjourn at the end of the walk. Picnic lunch on walk.
