NO WEST PARK MEET. Park at LR127 SJ Sutton Maddock Church, just off A442. This walk includes some Apley Estate land for which special permission has been granted. No pubs on route. Few stiles. There is one steep section and about 2 stiles. The route SO comprises field paths, farm tracks, quiet lanes, a section of the South Staffordshire Railway walk and concludes with a canalside walk. The Old Station car park is off Bratch Lane, Wombourne. This will be about a 2.5 hour walk including a short break about half way round. No Pub stop. This is The LR128/Exp244 SK Chartley Walk as published by the Stowe by Chartley Parish Council. It is described as having some stiles on the route, the open fields may well be muddy. The meeting place is at the Village Hall, parking available if hall is not in use. There is a pub in the village to which walkers may adjourn at the end of the walk. Picnic lunch on walk.
