3 SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS 42 nd South Swedish Rally 2017 The 42 nd South Swedish Rally counts for; The Swedish Rally Championship (SM), Swedish Junior Rally Championship (JSM) and SSRC The South Swedish Rally will be run in compliance with the SBF (the Swedish ASN) national sporting regulations and SBF national rally championship regulations for 2017, these Supplementary regulations and coming bulletins. The competitors take part on their own risk. The FIA, the Swedish ASN, the organiser or officials of the event cannot be claimed as responsible for injuries on persons and/or property which occurs during the competition. By entering the South Swedish Rally, the driver, the co-driver, the entrant and the team s service crew, give the organiser the right to register and publish the name of the driver, Co-driver, entrant and service crew regardless the way of media. 1. 6 15.37 First car in SSRC at finish Stortorget, Karlskrona The Service Parc closes Tingsryd First car in SSR at finish Stortorget, Karlskrona Price giving ceremony Scandic Hotel, Karlskrona Scrutineering, time and place according to starting confirmation and bulletin Competitors and elimination Competitors with a valid license (EU-license) may take part in the South Swedish Rally. The organisers have taken their right to limit the number of competitors by elimination; due to the act that number of competitors in 42 nd South Swedish Rally may not exceed 100. The elimination will be done in the following way: 1. Entries that not are complete before 18.00H 14 th May The organiser claims their right to sort out drivers, taken in account the qualifications and skills of the driver. 13. Classes, starting order and seeding Classes and seeding according to the regulations of SM and JSM, and all other cars according to the discretion of the organiser 14. Advertising The organiser claims their right to put advertising on the cars, according to the regulations of the Swedish ASN. The organiser claims its right to apply advertising on the front window, the total width of the window and with a height of 12 cm. This advertising is a sticker from TOOLS, and this is the only one allowed at the front window! This sticker has to be placed at the top of the front window and cover from side to side. The organiser claims its right to advertising on other places of the car. Not having the organisers advertising is possible by paying an extra fee, see 17 below. 15. Team Competition Not applicable. 16. Service, tires, environmental and refuelling Tyres allowed are according to the present regulations. There will be two Service Parcs; one situated in Karlskrona and one in Tingsryd. The environmental rules of the Swedish ASN have to be followed (a transcription of the Swedish text is available by request). The organisers will carefully supervise this. Only one service car per team is allowed at each Service Parc. Extended service area may be ordered by using the form App. 1 page 22 The Service Parcs are a complete non fire zone, and this includes also the use of a barbecue and smoking. 7 Please not that there are no electrical supply at the Service Parks. N.B. some areas may the surface be uneven. Entry regulations (only non-swedish drivers) The entry fee and the entry form, must reach the organiser latest at 18.00H on Sunday 14 th May 2017, to be accepted as a valid entry. If the entry reaches the organiser later the late entry fee will be in force, which has to done latest at Sunday 21 st May 2017 at 18.00H. The organisers cannot guarantee that your entry will be published in the official program. 8 - A service area of 6x8 m 18. Entry You have to do your entry at N.B. the entry, the entry fee and possible pace note and reconnaissance fee; have to reach the organiser not later than 18.00H on Sunday 14 th May Do not forget to enter your need of pace notes. A late entry may be done to a cost of 200:- extra not later than 21 st May 18.00H. The organisers cannot guarantee that your entry will be published in the official program. 19. Cancelling The organiser have the right, in co-operation with the Swedish ASN and the Stewards, to cancel the rally if less the 50 entries have been received before the closing date, do to prohibition from the authorities, unfavourable weather conditions or other cases of force majeure. 20. Prizes According to the present SM, JSM regulations 21. Repayment The entry fee will be repaid in the following cases: 1) If the rally does not take place 2) Entries that not are accepted by the organiser 3) If the entry is withdrawn by an before 14 th May 2017 at 18.00H. 4) Competitors, who cancel their entry after 18.00H 14 th May 2017 and before H repayment of the entry fee minus 200 5) Competitor, who cancel their entry fee after H no repayment 6) If the rally is cancelled due to force majeure repayment of 50% of the paid entry fee 7) Repayment of pace notes fee, cancellation after 14 th May 2017 no repayment. 22. Schedule 1.1 Thursday 26 th May according to a schedule 1.2 Friday 27 th May according to a schedule 2. Restrictions Between on Monday 20 th February and on Saturday 27 th May, it is strictly forbidden to drive, regardless way of driving, stay and/or walk over the special stages of the South Swedish Rally, except when the special stages are open for reconnaissance, and the team have to be allowed to do the reconnaissance, or open as special stages. Any offence against these regulations will lead to non-admission to the start and the entry fee will not be refunded. The organisers will carefully supervise this. GPS tracing system We will supply each recci-car and competing car with a GPS-unit. To be used to control the speed at recci and for safety at the competition.
