2 THE SHOW AND VENUE The Heritage Insurance Classics at the Castle show is now in its 12th year at the beautiful 16th Century Sherborne Castle. Under new ownership since 2014, with a not-for-profit organising company formed by Yeo Vale and Sherborne Castles Rotary Clubs, this year the show will be raising funds for Cancer Research UK and local charities. More than 1,200 interesting and exciting cars are expected to be on display in the magnificent lakeside grounds of the Castle - for the use of which we thank the Digby family. Lotus is the featured manufacturer this year with sponsorship by Westover Sports Cars Ltd of Poole who will be showing their current range of cars including the fabulous new Lotus Evora. The feature display will include historic Lotus sports and racing cars - famous for its Esprit, Elan, Europa and Elise sports cars and for the highly successful Team Lotus in Formula 1. New for 2015 will be a dedicated area for Hot Rods, Custom and American cars reflecting the growing private and club entries of recent years. Altogether this premier Southern England Classics and Supercar show will display a mouthwatering array of cars from Vintage and Classic cars to Supercars including Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Bugatti and many others. There will be race and rally cars, as well as a collection of dragsters, which will be fired-up, producing awesome noise! Traditional at this event is the arrival of car tours in front of the Castle, 2015 will see the arrival of Lamborghinis and Aston Martins staged by prestige car dealer H R Owen of Pangbourne and Cheltenham. Once again this year members of the on-line car club PistonHeads have organised a sports and super-car run to finish at the Castle some 30 plus very exciting and exceptional cars are expected to take part. Sherborne based auctioneers Charterhouse will once more be staging their very popular Classic Vehicle Auction, more than 100 lots are expected for sale on the day There will be a host of motor club stands with member s cars, trade stands, auto-jumble, craft fair, models display and a children s area all of which add to the spectacle and interest of this great show. So pack your own picnic or try one of our newly expanded and widened range of onsite caterers, get the camera ready and join us for another wonderful day at the show.

3 STATIC DISPLAY You are invited to enter your car for exclusive display in Showfield A (note-on the day entries will have seperate parking) at this the 12th Classics at the Castle show at Sherborne Castle, Dorset on Sunday 19th July The Heritage Insurance Classics at the Castle attracts in excess of 1,200 cars, over 100 stands and around 7,000 people in attendance. It is a high quality, prestige show with many of the premier marque cars represented. SPECIAL FEATURES Lotus will be the Marque Feature at The Heritage Insurance Classics at the Castle this year, with a mouth watering display featuring Lotus car of all ages. This display is kindly sponsored by Westover Sports Cars of Poole who will also have a large display showing the latest models. SUPERCARS - once again a dramatic display representing some of the world s finest supercars will be featured in front of the castle. RACE AND RALLY CARS - historic competition cars from road and track will be displayed near the front of the castle. HOT RODS, CUSTOM AND AMERICAN CARS - will be forming a special display in a new-dedicated area. DRAGSTERS - spectacular dragsters will be displayed and will thrill the crowds when their mighty engines are fired up. MOTOR CLUBS Last year nearly 40 motor clubs displayed well over 400 of their members cars. More are expected this year with once again their displays being judged to encourage clubs to make an effort to present themselves imaginatively and attractively to further enhance the show. TRADE STANDS More and more companies are supporting The Heritage Insurance Classics at the Castle show. Motor related traders are joined by specialist car manufacturers and dealers, service providers and restoration firms, plus of course the popular Autojumble traders. To maintain the enthusiasm of all the family there will again be the Crafts Fair and Childrens area. CHARTERHOUSE AUCTION Once again there will be a quality classic car auction to be staged by Sherborne based Charterhouse. Quality entries are invited for the sale, which will be held on the Sunday from 1.00pm with viewing from 10.00am. 4 SPORTS AND SUPERCAR TOURS Sports and supercar tours organised by H R Owen and members of the online club PistonHeads arrive in front of the castle at lunchtime. Expect to see a wide variety of exciting cars completing their tour through the Somerset countryside to Sherborne. 5 Regulations 1. ORGANISATION The Heritage Insurance Classics at the Castle at Sherborne Castle, Dorset on Sunday 19th July 2015 is organised by Classics at the Castle. The Show Secretary is Stuart Annett and the former Director, Keith McGee is retained as a professional adviser to the show. ENTRIES Entries open with the publication of these Regulations and close on 1st July Entries will only be accepted if completed on the official entry form and accompanied by the required entry fee. Late entries accepted but please note - Any late applicants not in possession of Vehicle Passes will also be charged the shows public admission charge at the gate on arrival. This is non-refundable. Photocopied entry forms acceptable for additional entries. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse any entry without reason. Classics at the Castle and Sherborne Castle Estates are not responsible for any loss or damage of exhibitors property whilst on site. 3. ENTRY FEES The entry fee is per car including occupants. VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY The event is open to any Pre-War cars and Post War Classic cars introduced prior to 1985, plus later Sports and Grand Touring cars and other cars of special interest, including Kit Cars, Specials, Replicas, American Cars, Custom Cars, Hot Rods and Modified Cars. The organiser reserves the right to refuse any entry should the vehicle be deemed unsuitable or inappropriate for this event. All vehicles must be in a condition suitable for display and to be appropriately insured. Cars must not display For Sale notices as there is an on-site Classic Car Auction by Charterhouse. 5. ASSEMBLY Assembly is on the Exclusive Showfield A from 7.30am on Sunday 19th July 2015 at Sherborne Castle, Dorset. All cars must be in place by 9.30am latest, as the public are admitted from 10.00am. Separate display areas will be provided for Pre-War Cars, American, Custom Cars, Hot Rods and Modified Cars, Replicas, Specials and Kit Cars (subject to sufficient entries in any section). All vehicles must remain on display until 4.00pm. Please Note: there are two castles in Sherborne, this event is held at Sherborne New Castle (16th Century). For Sat Nav users the post code is DT9 5NR. 6. PASSES Vehicle Passes will be issued with Final Instructions. These must be prominently displayed at the front of the vehicle for unhindered access to the site.

COMMERATIVE BRASS PLAQUE Ordered as an additional item, a high quality Brass Plaque can be collected from the Show Office at 4.00pm, on production of your Brass Plaque Voucher issued with Final Instructions. The plaques must be ordered and are for pre-booked entries only. 8. ADMISSION TO SHERBORNE CASTLE Anyone wishing to visit Sherborne Castle itself should pay the required admission charges at the castle entrance (just 2.50 per person, on production of your Voucher which admits two persons). Entry to this event includes admission to the Grounds and Garden only. 9. CANCELLATIONS The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the event if, in the reasonable opinion of the Organiser, it is deemed necessary due to adverse weather conditions, or other reasons beyond the Organiser s control. If an entry is cancelled the entry fee is non-refundable and will be donated to charity. 10. INSURANCE The Organiser has arranged public liability insurance to the sum of 5 million. Entrants must also ensure that cars are insured to cover any non-competitive use on private land during this event. 11. SECURITY A security service will be provided for the nights of Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July. 13. CAMPING Camping will be permitted on site on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only, in the dedicated area at the far end of the show field. Toilets and water will be available on site. This facility is for exhibitors only and not for the general public. 15. FINAL INSTRUCTIONS AND PASSES Final instructions and passes will be posted to entrants ten days prior to the event.
