2 TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS It is YOUR responsibility to check the Draw. 1. The tournament will be run in accordance with the ITF Rules of Tennis. 2. The Committee shall have the entire control and management of the tournament. Any matter not covered by these conditions shall be resolved by the committee whose decision shall be final. 3. The Committee reserves the right to refuse entry into, or to combine or cancel events or transfer entries to different age group if considered insufficient entries have been received, or alter the program if deemed necessary. 4. This is a Tennis NSW and Tennis Seniors NSW Sanctioned Tournament. For insurance reasons, all players must be registered members of their State Tennis Association and be members of a State Tennis Seniors Association. Failure to comply with this requirement may preclude you from competing in the tournament. Membership with TSNSW is FREE for the first year. 5. Minimum age requirement for seniors competition is 34 years. Senior players will be eligible to play their age group during the full year i.e. a player who attains (say 35 years) on any date during, up to and including December 31 st, will be eligible to play 35+ events for the full year. 6. Each competitor must submit a separate Entry Form, on or before the closing date, and only ONE (1) event per time slot to be entered. 7. Players are requested to enter WITH a partner. The Committee may try, without obligation, to find partners for doubles events if requested. 8. ENTRY FEES: Singles: 22.00; Doubles per player. ENTRIES CLOSE: Friday 9 th June Payment for events must be paid prior to first match. 9. ALL EVENTS WILL BE CONDUCTED AS ROUND ROBIN. All matches will be 1 x tie break set with a tiebreak at 5 games all except for the American Doubles events which will be best of 8 games. In the event of more than 1 card per event, the winner of each card will be placed in a play off to determine the event winner with the exception of the American Doubles. 10. Winners Formula: SETS WON, if equal games won, if equal games against, if equal winner when the player/pairs played each other. 11. In the event of wet weather, prize winners will be drawn from a hat. 12. Matches will commence at the time stipulated on the Entry Form. Play may continue under lights. Competitors must report to control at the venue 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Any morning matches/finals not completed will be played at the completion of the afternoon matches on the same day under lights if necessary. 13. In entering the Tournament, a player automatically grants the right in perpetuity to make, use and show pictures of him/her motion or still, taken during the competition without compensation. 14. Players must be correctly dressed in recognized tennis attire. 15. Tecnifibre tennis balls will be used exclusively for the tournament. 16. Each pool has a maximum of five players playing a maximum of four sets. Individual scores are tallied with the top player declared the winner, there will be no runner up or playoff if more than one pool. PRIZES: All winners and runners up receive quality prizes from the prize pool except for events 10 & 11. Only the winner of these events will receive a prize.
