Honorable mentions: Dre great kicker, even passes infield outs with his golden foot; Jillian her speed pitching was missed against TGM; Brad speed & fielding also missed in last game; Erika other starting pitcher and 2nd baseman fell sick before TGM. (0 errors for all the above) Most Spirited Player: Jarad you can t get more pumped up for a kid s game than this. Drunkest Player: Greg who quietly brought his Bubba every week. Offensive Play of the Season: Ryan s Grand Slam followed by another HR, and 7 RBI day. Defensive Play of the Season: The double play to seal the Round 2 playoff win over the Gators. Honorable mention: Ben sliding into home just missing the tag for a run with Jarad doing the same on the other side of the plate 2steps behind him a la Major League Favorite Game of the Season: Most say the 4-1 over Gators. Redemption, but we played lights out against DITNB, for what could have been a 2-2 tie. Can t wait for another shot...speaking of shots... 11 Favorite Game of the Season: Covering the spread vs. Motor Boaters or Extra Innings in the Rain vs. Bill Brasky Your Team s Performance This Season in 3 Words: Irish Car Bomb Motor Boaters Most Valuable Player: Jose Garcia (best pitcher in the league) Most Spirited Player: Casey Dixon Drunkest Player: Alan Jahn (not during game but at Icabod s) Offensive Play of the Season: Captain Adam s walk-off homerun to beat Yo Mama Defensive Play of the Season: Matt Miclean backing up an overthrow at 3rd and nailing a DITNB runner who thought he had an easy run Favorite Game of the Season: Victory over DITNB Your Team s Performance This Season in 3 Words: win, win, win Rubber Balls Most Valuable Player: I'm going to have to give it to Mitch, he won more player of the games than anyone else proving once again that it is indeed age before beauty. Most Spirited Player: Frank, like good old Winston Churchill he was there during the darkest hours barking obscenities and drinking his way through the war... er... games. Drunkest Player: Although there were a few nominees, we agreed that the sheer amount of drunkenness present during one game in particular dictated that Cush receive the honors. Offensive Play of the Season: Jaime kicked a sacrifice fly in our playoff game to give us our only lead of the season. Defensive Play of the Season: Kelley out of sheer instinct made a double play worthy of at least an 8 on ESPN's Plays of the Week. Favorite Game of the Season: Our one and only playoff game, we were finally working as a team and led the first 3 innings before finally being surpassed. Your Team s Performance This Season in 3 Words: Drunk. Happy. Sluts. Ballbusters Most Valuable Player: Laura, no question. Our leadoff kicker. Our permanent left fielder. Most outstanding off-season performance. Social ambassador to other teams. And she plays flip-cup with vodka. Most Spirited Player: Won, the most enthusiastic fielder ever. He provides valuable advice to the opposing team's kickers on what pitches to take and what ones to kick. He chases down the runner every time, without question. He runs. And runs. Drunkest Player: There's a saying in poker that if you can't spot the sucker in the first half hour, it must be you. I guess the same goes with spotting the drunkest player. That really doesn't say much about the team's bar performance. Offensive Play of the Season: So few to choose from. Whatever it was, I'm sure it happened in the game against Rubber Balls. Defensive Play of the Season: Tami snagging a line drive in the playoff game against GCAS. The thunderous roar of the crowd alone would make this one the winner, but it was a pretty sweet catch no matter what.

12 Favorite Game of the Season: Rubber Balls. It's hard not to name a 16-1 victory the favorite game of the season. It was the kind of game we all envisioned back when we signed up at the beginning of the season. Your Team s Performance This Season in 3 Words: Old People Team Drunk is the New Black Most Valuable Player: Erik Schaum - for single-handedly keeping our struggling offense afloat with something like 67 home runs Most Spirited Player: Kim Sheppard - she serves up more than 31 theme-coordinated flavors of drunk Drunkest Player: Cameron Siggs (at least we hope he's drunk) Offensive Play of the Season: Any of Angela's dozen or so bunt doubles Defensive Play of the Season: The triple header catch executed during the all-star game Favorite Game of the Season: Edward Bubba Hands against The Pink Machine - single greatest game in Tarpon League history Your Team s Performance This Season in 3 Words: Drunk glorious mess Yo Mama Most Valuable Player: Jonathon Franklin and his impenetrable defense takes this hands down Most Spirited Player: Dan Usavage...I don't think anyone can argue I have the most SPIRIT. Hey...loud cussing when people drop balls (including myself) surely must count as spirit! Drunkest Player: Dennis Tamayo - You locked this one up with the last 2 games for sure! Granted, half of us were drunk, but wow... Offensive Play of the Season: I think I'm gonna have to go with a personal favorite here and say Dario's slide into 3rd, going 10 feet past 3rd base and taking the plate with him. Can't be called out when the plate is in your hand! Defensive Play of the Season: I really don't remember anything in particular standing out here. Jon had quite a few sliding catches. Favorite Game of the Season: Against the Gym Class All Stars! Quite a few of our members had their first pre-game experience here, as we ran away with a victory against what was I think a 4 person team? Yeah, that sounds right.
