It s week 6 and the league leader has changed once again. Harry Ballsagna has taken the number 1 spot! After the regular season ends, the playoffs start!! Every team gets a fresh shot at taking the winning spot so get your team ready to fight for the gold! Thanks to everyone that came out to the Mid-Season party on Friday it was hard to recognize people all dressed up! A definite upgrade from the normal kickball attire. Congrats to Saucy for winning the flip cup tournament we raised $232 for charity! The G-Spot got stuffed full this week so check out all the comments & shit talk along with the rest of the normal info in the GMOT! Oh, and come find me (purple team, big ass blue cooler) on the fields for jello shots again this week! Cheers! 2 Pg. 2 Commissioner s Corner Westsiders, We sure know how to throw a party. The bartenders claimed we emptied a keg in 15 minutes and went through more than 7 in 3 hours... Thats how West Side does WORK! Our charitable causes also felt the benefits of the West Side when we raised more than $230 dollars. Congratulations to Saucey for winning the 2010 Charity Flip Cup Tournament. Philip and Jeremy of the winning team will be looking for a 3rd championship in a row next time around. We also had some great games Thursday night and we found ourselves looking at a new leader in the standings. Harry Ballsagna is pretty solid and I don't see an easy take down for their opponents in the near future. Who will be the ones to take them down if anyone can? It was quite the mix up and we also had some first time winners. The competition is getting cut throat and we are creating a nasty recipe for playoff greatness. If your kickball pants aren't tight, get them there... Levi

4 Pg. 4 Head Rules Guy WAKA TX RANGER HEAD REF BERT PARATORE DISSECTS THE RULES HERE EACH WEEK Fielders in the baseline: For the past couple weeks I ve seen and heard complaints about fielders not getting out of the baseline. Fielders need to remember to pay attention and stay out of the way when you re not actively involved in the play. This includes leaning out of baseline when catching a ball at a base too. Also everyone has different experience levels, it doesn t hurt to remind your fellow fielders if you see someone standing in the baseline either. And runners, yes it s your running lane. But if there s a fielder accidentally in the baseline and is not intentionally impeding you, you don t run them over just to prove a point. If the referee decides a fielder impeded you getting to a base then you will still be safe. Accidents will happen, fielders and runner can collide. Let s just do our best to avoid it if we can and show some good sportsmanship when it does happen. Kicker s Box: There have been some questions about the kicker s box and what is foul and what is fair. Here s a diagram that I hope will clear things up for everyone. Bert

6 Pg. 6 Team wrap ups Short and sweet is how you could sum up this game. Both teams went scoreless in the first but the Minnesota brothers hammered out a run in the top of the 2nd. Big brother Paul laid it all out on the line as he sacrificed himself so baby brother Danny could cross home scoring the one and only run of the game, and one run is all you need when you have awesome defensive. In the bottom of the 5th Bassackwards attempted to put something together but were shut down once again by the never dull and extremely attractive Rubber Balls and Liquor. The magnificent P-Nut walked away with player of the game with his stellar pitching, So kids when you are feeling frisky and think you can mess with us, remember we are RUBBER BALLS and we LIQUOR!!! We finally won a game! It's a good thing our left fielder finally learned how to catch balls without using his face! We'd also like to remind our catcher that other people would like a chance to peg the other team every once in awhile... Good job Balls and Dolls!!! It only took Son of a Pitch 5 games into the season, but we got our first win. Feels good to get that monkey off our back, thanks It s Not Pretty. And look out WAKA Me Off, we re on a roll and we re taking this mother all the way to the tournament. Calling it now championship! It was looking mighty desperate for both teams to score suddenly it all fell apart for us in one inning as Balls & Dolls had bases loaded and made 4 runs. At least we didn t get skunked managed to make one run. Despite our losses we are playing better as a team. We will remain optimistic! To our advantage we have an awesome pitcher and a bad ass in the outfield the next one could be our win. Harry Ballsagna played a good game and won the event 8-1 over We got the runs. Both teams played hard and had fun. What a great game... The Bunt Sauce had lots of fun with some good friends and kickball rivals. Losing wasn't the way we wanted to go but with a game like that, it could have gone either way. I look forward to a rematch in the FINALS!!! TDP had a double header this week vs. Waka Me Off and the Bunt Sauce. It was a hot tough day and we still could not find the right combination to get past Waka Me Off. We ended up losing 3 to 1. In the second half of the double header we ran into the Bunt Sauce. These players were ready for us, but Donkey Punch prevailed in a 4 to 3 victory. All in all it was another great week of kickball. Not a lucky night for Bassackwards who came ready to take on Rubber Balls with everything they had. Same must have been true for the opponent when they eventually took a one zip lead over BA, a deficit they never overcame. Bassackwards defense was strong for the remainder of the game preventing the Rubber s from getting big heads (pun intended) but offensive strategy was a little weak this game. In the end, BA evened out their standings at 3 and 3 for the season thus far and made plans to add a digit to the win column next week. Coming off of last week s winning high, Suck My Kick went up against Just for Kicks & secured a solid victory. With Big Beautiful (aka Matt) snatching balls in the outfield & our team mom Crystal sacrificing her body for a great catch, it was 6-2 win for SMK! WAKA ME OFF was able to bounce back this week with a 3-1 victory over previously unbeaten TDP. Solid defense was played by both teams, as not a lot of offense was present for this one. WAKA ME OFF, missing some key players, was able to do just enough to get the win. High School Hero Cody Hodges provided a big 2 out RBI kick, while Kasey Aikin and Ben Liegl provided great defense in the outfield. 1st basemen Scott Campbell had some stellar defensive plays to secure the win in the final inning to make up for his lackluster effort the inning before when a girl beat him to the base after kicking ball directly to him!
